Relaxed days at the Pergola Algund
After many years we were once again in the pergola. We had a great time: relaxed atmosphere, very nice rooms with very good facilities and with great views, very attentive and friendly service. We liked to sit in the bar or terrace for an aperitif and liked to stock up in the small shop for dinner. Just right for the many activities nearby (hiking, MTB, tennis etc.). We would love to come back - thank you for everything.

Pergola...again and again.. and always very happy
My wife and I have been regular guests for more than twenty years and have already immortalized our enthusiasm for the Pergola here in 2021. So why another review? Well, a few years have passed - particularly difficult due to Corona - which have caused enormous damage to many businesses. The Pergola has reinvented itself and developed further during this time. With a wonderful result. Improving something very good can easily fail. Here it has succeeded. Extremely successful. The Pergola itself was carefully renovated where necessary and the concept was further developed in the direction of "home away from home". The basic idea of making South Tyrolean hospitality tangible has remained and is authentically implemented by Karin Innerhofer and her team.
The new gem Spazio46 has added a "house within a house" that is luxurious, very tasteful and individual. This extension above the Pergola has now created additional space that creates real added value with an outdoor pool, a sauna and a small fitness area as a wellness center.
An old farmhouse on the Ritten has now been lovingly and lavishly renovated and, as the "Haus Engadein", offers a very special retreat to recharge your batteries.
We have now been able to enjoy all three offers and love being spoiled for choice. You can't really go wrong. All three pergola variants offer excellent opportunities to experience South Tyrol at your own pace.
And all three can also be easily used as a home office during longer stays. Incidentally, all three were designed by different architects and have different interior designs. As different as they are, they all fit perfectly with South Tyrol and are functional and excellent in terms of design.
One topic should be addressed at the end. Which season is the best to enjoy the pergola concept? It is open from April to November and each month has its own charm.
But one thing is true all year round. The weather is actually always better than the weather forecast predicts. You might often get the impression that it is raining all day. But that is very rarely the case. After a shower or even a thunderstorm, the weather often clears up again surprisingly quickly.
And somehow it's understandable. In such a special place, it's not just the sky that's smiling.

Lovely place
It was our second stay here. Fortunately it was cooler than last time and because of that lack of A/C was not that bad.
We had the same suite as last time. It was perfectly maintained and so it was as great as before. Everything was spic and span.
Self catering is something we like. After having many restaurant dinners it is good to cook something you really fancy.
Garage is spic and span too. Nowhere else we have seen as good garage as there. And a private storage attached is very handy.
People working there are lovely as is the owner.

Perfect otherwise but too hot in summer
This residence is beautifully located, stylish and perfect for self catering. The only bad thing was that it was absolutely too hot last summer. There is no air conditioning. I'm sure we would go there again if they only had air conditioning.
Our room was beautiful. We had a huge terrace and had breakfasts and dinners there. Everything in this residence is created with good taste and it is a work of a famous architect.
Service was polite and attentive. The lady of the house is charming.

Top of the Top
designed by Matteo Thun, this is a must-stay location for couples like we !
Stayed 3 nights here, the rooms are very nice and the bed very comfty.
O.k., the terrace looks nice but privacy is something different to me.
The breakfast is really good, fresh fruit-salad and muesli, high quality and
very relaxing atmosphere as you have the stunning view towards the valley.
Congratulation, we will be back one day for sure (it is our about 10th+ stay in the
South Tyrol).
