Lovely!

Cozy rooms, a nice pool and very welcoming hosts.
We were there four people for five days and became more and more happy for the place,
Only small minus was we did not find the place was within walking distance to the city centre. It was too far and it was too hot. In turn, it was peaceful and beautiful.
A super detail was that the hosts provided coffee, as well as a machine that could make Danish water and cold water. Overall the shared kitchen worked well, which is shared with another room.
Nice place and good as a base for excursions to Barolo, La Morra and all the other charming wine villages around.
We'd love to come back.

Super place, hospitality failed.

Super place. In the silence of a forest, few guests, pool available. Standard room, as was the bathroom. No soundproofing. A few kilometers from the center of Alba.
I did not like:
- check-in: the lady had told me to write her a message 15 minutes before, which I did. Once we arrived at the gate, at 2:50 PM, I called to say that we had arrived and the owner told me "scolding me" that we had arrived too early (never happened in 30 years of traveling)
- A gentleman arrived to open up for us, who hurriedly told us. That if we wanted breakfast it was 15 euros per person. He showed us where the coffee machine and water were, gave us the room keys and then left.
- No sign of the lady, not even a WhatsApp message to. Asking if everything was okay, not even in the morning when we left, where we found the gentleman again who also hurriedly dismissed us saying "I'll leave the gate open for you to leave".
A place that deserves it as a location, hospitality definitely failed. I will certainly not return.

Magical farmhouse on the hill 5 minutes drive from the center of Alba

Let’s say that you had a nice ride in Alba and, after lunch, you head towards Corso Langhe where you parked your car ... You walk along the whole course and, at the bottom, you “come across” the Madonna della Moretta Sanctuary ... a hundred meters later, turn right into Strada Croci and at n * 60 there is a beautiful wrought iron gate that will open automatically with the arrival of the very kind owners who will welcome you, take you to the room and explain everything. L-shaped farmhouse renovated with taste and passion immersed in lush and well-kept vegetation. At the top there is a large swimming pool with lawn. In the woods above a room in the trees made of wood in the shape of a tent. The roof opens and you can enjoy the view of the sky. The rooms in the property are original and beautiful. Terraces everywhere equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas to enjoy the peace of the place. In the common entrance area you can use free water, coffee, refrigerator. The owners will be at your disposal for any information and need. Free Wi-Fi.

Wonderful experience!

The well-kept farmhouse is very particular, the swimming pool is very welcoming and quiet, we slept the night in the Starsbox (an experience you absolutely must try), in the silence and sounds of nature. Really well organised, aperitif served picnic style (delicious) and delicious brunch in the morning! The owners are wonderful people, easy-going and really helpful in everything!
