Nice hotel in Agrigento

Very nice hotel in Agrigento!!! Close to the Valley of the Temples, good room, very nice pool, and a very good restaurant to enjoy a meal at night. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful property but terrible management!

We stayed one night at this hotel to be able to visit the Valley of the Temples in the evening. We chose it because in the description it appeared to be a short walk from the archaeological site. In reality, the travel time is twenty minutes at a brisk pace!
The room we were assigned was comfortable, spacious, and quiet but a bit dated.
The hotel park is wonderful, the pool large but practically inaccessible because it is open not only to guests but also to outsiders, in addition to hosting private water aerobics classes!
A sore point: at the pool bar, the dining service closes at 2:30 PM and after that time you have to settle for very poor and very expensive dishes. My husband ordered a toast, paid the beauty of ten euros, which he had to send back because it was overcooked and in any case with a very modest filling.
I settled for a caprese (fourteen euros) consisting of 4 slices of mozzarella and 4 slices of tomato. It is a shame because the premises were good, but objectively I found this episode scandalous!

la ringraziamo per aver apprezzato il parco e il comfort della camera.
Ci scusiamo sinceramente se durante il periodo di altissima affluenza di agosto, nel tentativo di accontentare una clientela numerosa e variegata, si sono verificati dei disservizi al bar della piscina. Abbiamo già fatto le dovute verifiche con lo staff affinché episodi del genere con i toast e le capresi non si ripetano in futuro.
Speriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente per offrirle un'esperienza impeccabile.

Nice stay

· The breakfast is good and varied. Our room was a quadruple with a brand-new bathroom and a Jacuzzi tub. Beautiful! Clean hotel, well-maintained pool surrounded by greenery. Lunch by the pool was good. It is close to both the center of Agrigento (ZTL zone) and the Valley of the Temples (2 minutes by car).
I did not appreciate the presence of bees and wasps in the pool garden.

Convenient to the Temples

The grounds around the pool area were beautiful. It was the perfect location to visit the Valley of the Temples. It was nice having a bar in the lobby for a quick drink. They also provided free snacks, which was a nice touch. I’d return if I were in the area again.

Dishonest practice

The hotel itself was fine, but their practice has been dishonest.
My stay has already been paid as part of a package tour. When I checked in, they asked for my credit card in case of damage, which was a common practice. A couple days later, I found out that they charged my stay again to the credit card. When I contacted them, they apologized and promised to refund. However, after several email exchanges and two more months later, I still have not received the refund. Lately, they have been ignoring my email.
So, I caution you to be careful with this hotel.

Ci dispiace per l’inconveniente. Il rimborso è stato disposto da parte nostra; il ritardo è stato causato esclusivamente da un problema tecnico bancario, indipendente dall’hotel. Ci scusiamo ancora per il disagio arrecato.
