Great hotel! The room was super clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view. The breakfast was also excellent with a great selection. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Not needed.

Old-fashioned hotel in a good location. Across the street you are right by the water, very nice paths for running.
Double room ok, but nothing more. Single room resembled a storage closet. Dinner was plated without care and slammed onto the table by uninterested staff. Tiny portions. We were placed in a large and uncomfortable room. Very loud. A cat was sneaking around. I think that is completely unacceptable in the dining area. Breakfast very good. Good selection of bread/rolls. Unfortunately, the staff here is also completely rude.

Perfectly adequate place to stop over. Only other thing that maybe could be improved would be having a kettle in the room to make some hot drinks but other than that great.

Only disappointing stay of our 13 day trip

I was disappointed we stayed at this hotel because of room difficulties and poor food. Especially as the other places we stayed on our trip were brilliant
The original room we were given had a very strong chemical smell as did the second room. These were in the main hotel block. The person on reception (who was v helpful) managed to find accommodation in the block opposite.
The breakfast was awful. There weren't any clean tables as the staff had not been clearing and replacing the tablecloths. The staff relunctantly sorted out a table for us. The food was poor. For example, there was mouldy bread, which was only taken away because we told them. I didn't eat much as I lost all confidence in the freshness and safety of the food.

Decent but a bit outdated room. Reserved a twin room but got a whole apartment with two bedrooms. Reception closes at 23 and our traveling from southern Iceland took longer than expected. They were helpful and kept reception open until arrival. Nice breakfast. No toiletries except some general handsoap in shower.
