Restful and beautiful stay

Phil and Martin are wonderful people and obviously love what they do. I took many photos of their beautiful landscaping and loved the story of Martin growing up in the thatched room in their front yard. Be sure to check out the poster of Doors of Ireland! His mom is on it! The food was very good and the room very comfortable. Love the old fashioned keys to the room!

Fabulous B&B in Galway!

Winacre Lodge is a fantastic B&B with wonderful hosts, Phil and Martin! It features lovely, spacious, and very clean rooms, and fabulous breakfasts! It is in a beautiful, convenient location with amazing views! We definitely plan to stay there again on our next trip to Galway!

Enjoyable stay

My friend and I stayed here for one night last weekend when we attended a wedding in a local hotel. There was a mix up with the booking, we were double booked with another local B n B - absolutely nothing to do with Phil or Martin - but Phil was so helpful in sorting out the issue to everybody’s satisfaction. The room was well appointed with a lovely view overlooking the bay. The en-suite was spacious and spotless. Whilst packing my friend dropped a €50 note in the room and when Martin was cleaning the room he found it returned it to her - so honest as well as hospitable.

My hubby and I had the best stay here...very comfortable room, great breakfast and had fun with Hosts Phil and Martin. Very convenient location.

Fab 3 night stay!

My wife and I had a lovely three night stay at Winacre lodge. Firstly the property is really welcoming and has nice views across parts of Galway. The owners were both extremely nice people and were perfect hosts. Our room was spot on, very comfortable, nice en suite and very clean and tidy. Breakfast in the conservatory was also bang on, nice food and lovely coffee. The property is a nice 40 minute walk into the centre of Galway, for us this was ideal. Would 100% stay again and we would highly recommend! We enjoyed Morans Oyster Cottage, Connemera National Park & Dog's Bay Beach
