Awesome service and experience

The best hotel that I have stayed till now in Haridwar and looking forward to have the same beautiful experience and stay at this hotel again. It offers one of the best service and the rooms are very well maintained and hygiene is taken care of in the hotel. The hotel is near Har Ki Pauri which is a plus point for this hotel. The hotel is situated in market place where you can easily shop things. And yes mansa devi temple is clearly visible from this hotel. The staff guys are also very helpful and kind. I certainly loved the stay here and will definitely recommend this hotel to all of my friends to experience a lovely stay in Haridwar.

Just average lodge experience

Visited Haridwar on 7-8-9 April long weekend. Considering too much crowd, most of the hotels were full when we find this hotel. When the room was shown to us, he said the price of double bed non AC is 800 Rs. But when we asked for booking, he demanded 1000 Rs. This was a bad experience for me. Anyways, I am listing other pros and cons:
Pros:
1. Location is perfect. It is in between the market so you can enjoy shopping or late night stroll comfortably; exactly opposite to the hotel is Mansa Devi temple gate; Har ki Pauri is 10 mins walk.
2. Hotel has all types of rooms: AC, non AC, double bed, triple bed, family room.
3. It has a lift to go upstairs; though it is very loud and scary. You would prefer to avoid it.
Cons:
1. There was no soap or towel given. When we asked, we were given one soap. Towels were not available.
2. Lights don't work in the room.
3. No complimentary water bottle given.
4. Crowd is not good; all the time you will hear people shouting, talking loudly, anyone will knock your door at any time even during night.
5. The mattress was broken and it was impossible to even sit. It was changed after our complaint.
6. The entire room and washroom needs proper cleaning; the floor feels sticky and dirty.
7. In the room and in washroom, you can clearly hear who else is pooping or bathing or washing hands because the rooms are so connected and there is ZERO insulation.
Overall, it is good if you are looking just for a room to spend a night in the middle of market at very low price. It has all the attributes of a good lodge but please don't expect anything much.

Pathetic service...can't recommend to anyone

We book this hotel 4 months before through goibibo...2 AC rooms. Today we check in at 21.30 hrs ...from that time till now ( 01.15 hrs ) our AC is not working...no cooling at all for both the rooms. When we complain they said they can't help us...gizer condition not good. Lift is working all the time.

Budget Stay, OK location & OK rooms

The hotel is near Har ki Paudi which is the Plus point for the Hotel. The area around is Crowded as it is a market place. If you are looking out for an economical stay, this one is good. I checked for many hotels in the vicinity & found this one a better option compared to other similar properties.
Rooms: Neat & Clean
Cooling: Pretty good
Value for Money: Yes
Food: Didn't taste it, so cant comment.
Staff: Not very pleasant.
Surroundings: Nothing great.

Learn to behave

We booked hotels from Kolkata and asked all the 5 rooms to have AC which they assured and told that there would be 3 front facing rooms and a couple will be gallery side. Upon arrival we found an arrogant manager sitting at the reception who sent us with a staff to check the rooms. We found there were 2 front facing rooms whereas the rest were inside the gallery and one of them had no AC inside it. Then we had to adjust with out choice to take a room completely at an isolated zone with dirty garbage around it. The hotels rooms were congested, stinky and most importantly, inactive ACs. We were shocked to see them offering such a bizarre as we were to stay there for 3 nights. My Mother got ill and the Hotel Owner was really proactive to help us and he arranged another spacious AC room for my parents to stay in stead of the glass covered suffocating one and tell you what - the rating here is only for the Owner of this Hotel who must teach his manager and other staffs to behave well. Food quality was not at all good. Even rice-dal-sabji was not made well. Worst to everything was the behavior of the Manager who showed his real color during the third morning when he shouted at us to force us pay full money in advance. The stupid fellow couldn't realize the little fact that we rented 5 AC rooms, we took a trip to Rajaji National Park and Laxmanjhula through them, we ate all our meals at their hotels and we kept paying for everything immediately after having those amenities and amusements - so we couldn't run away without paying them. Overall, it was not at all a nice stay but all the ratings are for the Owner who is a real gentleman.
