Great location, very friendly staff. Food in the garden definitely recommended.Prima location, very friendly staff.

Great location, nice garden, friendly staff and think along. We cycle the Eleven Cities route. Problem with a bike, they could exchange with a bike that hotel Jans rent. In Leeuwarden. (final destination) we can return that bike to the bike rental company to which the bikes between hotel Jans and bike rental Leeuwarden will be exchanged. A good example of thinking along by the owner of hotel Jans.

Sleep and eat wonderfully

Everything was really great! The Swedish house in the garden is very nice, excellent beds and nice shower. Nice to walk into the woods with the dogs! The restaurant is also great, with nice dishes and delicious wines. The white wine from Friesland is tip. Highly recommended to get away from it all. We will definitely come back!

Nicely located

Very friendly staff. Nice room. Bicycles could be safely stored in a separate room. Charging facilities for the batteries are available. Parking is free. The hotel is ideal for a bicycle holiday.

Nice hotel

We stayed here for one night on our way to the IJmuiden - Newcastle ferrry and to visit a friend to lives nearby.
We were very satisfied with the hotel and had a nice refurbished room which was very comfortable.
We had an excellent dinner in the dining room.
The staff were very friendly.

Sleeping in a garden house

Slept here after a day hiking the Frisia Coast Trail. The place, reception, restaurant and bar gave just been renovated. Found it very well done. I slept in one of the little garden house. Maybe because of the renovations still going on the bedrooms. The food was truly excellent. Both dinner and breakfast. Really, top. And even Frisian red wine available!
