A hotel where one feels at home

I am delighted with this hotel that I initially chose because it has air conditioning (which is not the case everywhere in Versailles).
Located very close to the market square, facing the Richaud space, it is easily accessible. Warm and competent welcome, smiling staff.
Nicely decorated room and a good size (I was staying alone but like to have space). Good amenities: minibar (appreciated during hot weather), kettle (to make tea), telephone.
Decent breakfast (rather continental with real fresh-squeezed oranges + eggs, cheeses, ...) and cold drinks (including beers) available at the reception.
On the downside: no safe in the room, blackout curtains but light comes in from the side, small TV.
I did not come by car but other people parked their cars nearby (city parking meters). In short, a very good hotel. I will gladly return!

A great addition would be to have a light in the stairway, especially after sunset the stairway is very dark. The room did not have AC, luckily it was not extremely warm when we visited. Our room was like a studio apartment, it would’ve been great for an extended stay with the kitchen and bar seating area.

Good location, staff friendly and breakfast fine. Room very small and furniture old, not like the photos. Room clean but smells in corridor. Limited storage, no safe in room and small fridge which wasn't very cold. No guaranteed parking space, £25 overnight for local car park.

From arrival, everything was done politely, professionally, courteously … nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was delightful - perfect view. It had a lovely hanging rail which was ideal for a few days’ stay. A suitcase rack, a fridge, a kettle with tea and coffee. No milk though - I had to ask for that - which was not a problem at all. The bathroom was a decent size with a good shower (I have curly hair so a powerful shower is a must). There was a hairdryer in the bathroom (no diffuser - hotels need to understand curly haired guests need diffusers but not complaining, just commenting) with plenty of towels for my stay. Lots of different light options. The hotel has a lift or stairs and even a lift for wheelchairs or heavy cases at the entrance. It is situated on a quiet street but only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel are the market, shops, bars and a wide choice of restaurants. It’s a 12 minute walk to the Palace (book in advance if you want to go inside) and Ubers into central Paris range from 35-55€ depending on time of day. Breakfast was good. Not a huge range but plenty for all. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect location, quiet Street. Car parking in backyard was really convenient.
