Warm Welcoming, spacious and comfortable room, atypical old stones, hearty breakfast... a very pleasant night so!

fabulous welcome

Booked on the day Lisane was a wonderful hostess. Room fab and staying in December it was a lovely touch of an electric blanket even though the room was toasty. Breakfast fab. An excellent place to stay

Wonderful B&B

Have just stayed here for 3 nights in the Rustic bedroom. The room is beautiful and has just about everything you need right down to 2 pairs of slippers (No TV but this was never missed by us. We were grape picking and far too busy/tired to watch TV). The property has featured on TV in "Four in a Bed" and it won!! The landlady Lisanne is English and speaks fluent French. She is wonderful and her French breakfasts are to die for. She has Cats and Dogs that sit around the lounge area. I have never seen such a fat cat in all my life...a cushion with a head!
Our bed was very comfortable and had a memory foam matrass. We've never slept on one before. I couldn't tell if my wife was still in bed with me...lol.
The accommodation also has 2 Gites which we never saw. Parking could be difficult as it's accessed at the rear on a very narrow street but there is a small parking area nearby.
The view from the bedroom and garden are simply stunning, across rolling French countryside.
We were there to visit a friends' Vineyard who are also friends with Lisanne and she even gave us a lift there and back on one occasion....Brilliant.
We cannot recommend this B&B Highly enough and would definitely use it again and again!

Wonderful experience

Our 4 night stay with Lisanne at Les Chimeres was a rich experience. The accommodation is very comfortable and every detail is thoughtful. The breakfast was a delight of varied tastes of multiple kinds and proper tea. Lisanne has a wealth of local knowledge and could not have been more helpful. A scarf left behind by mistake was returned in the very next post.

A lovely place to stop

If you need somewhere to stop in this region, then look no further. Lisanne put us in one of the gites as the b&b rooms were full - it was beatifully light and airy and extremely comfortable. And the views are fabulous! The food is also well worth stopping for: we greatly enjoyed both the evening meal and breakfast. Lisanne clearly puts a great deal of care into her food and is a very engaging and entertaining host. We will definitely stay there again if we are going that way.
