Catastrophic and questionable practice!
During a heatwave, the heat in the room was simply unbearable. Sleeping in such conditions was almost impossible. When I reported the problem, the only response provided was to advise me to use a fan, which was largely insufficient given the temperatures. At nearly $200 a night, it is simply unacceptable.
Added to this was a significant delay in housekeeping, which only made an already very bad experience worse.
The most shocking part remains the handling of the complaint. After expressing my dissatisfaction, compensation was offered to me... but only on the condition that I delete my review. This practice is particularly regrettable and gives the impression that the establishment prefers to make negative reviews disappear rather than resolve the problems encountered by its customers.
I am therefore sharing my experience so that future travelers know what to expect. For the price charged, one has the right to expect a minimum of comfort, service that meets expectations, and honest handling of complaints. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Don't leave them any extra money. Payment for Booking already includes the tourist tax.
THEY USE GIMMICKS THAT APPEAR TO BE A SCAM. They ask you to leave the tourist tax money in an envelope and put it in a mailbox at the accommodation. BUT YOU ALREADY PAID FOR IT WITH THE BOOKING FEE. When you look closely at the details of your booking payment you notice and claim it, no one gives you a solution, neither booking nor WS Saint Charles. They only play with you asking for proof of payment, etc. It therefore already appears intentionally done, and this is now a suspected scam. On top of it cheap are not!!! Also the room is very small, to the point of being overwhelming. Another downside is that they don't have reception, so any problems you have are going to get more complicated.

The tourist tax is not included in the booking price and must be paid separately.

Unprofessional
Very disappointing experience. We booked through Booking and when we arrived at night the coded door did not work as it had an error that only a technician could fix, so we could not access the accommodation we had already paid for, occurred at 00:00am.
After contacting the accommodation, the only solution we were offered was to move to another room located approximately 1.5 km away, which clearly does not correspond to what we had booked.
This situation caused us to lose museum tickets and part of the plans we had organized for the next day, as well as the time and stress of having to solve a problem that was not our responsibility.
We file a claim seeking a refund or compensation for the damages caused, but the only response received so far is that “you will be transferred to the manager”, without offering any concrete solution.
I believe that when such a problem occurs, the accommodation should take responsibility and provide adequate compensation. Unfortunately, in our case management has been very poor. So it has been a very disappointing experience and unprofessional management. I would not recommend it at all.

very clean and safe
The apartment is very clean and convenient to visit Paris by feets or subway! I recommend a lot this WS apartment because there is self check in and check out. Also, it's very clean and safe due to the access codes. There is a customer service available even during the evening.
