Our staff have been pleased to welcome you back to the deep heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and to receive your feedback regarding renovations. We are delighted to feel that you appreciated your last experience with us.
However, we deeply apologize for the trouble you had with air-conditioning (we will check it) and of course for the alarm in the the morning. That was a rude way to wake up, we totally agree and we could not apologize enough.

We miss our little room at the Welcome Hotel.
Plenty of cafes and restaurants a few steps from the hotel, a laundromat and supermarket around the corner. Our room was small ( expected in Paris) but clean, a comfortable bed, hot shower and air conditioning and quiet even though the street below was full of people late at night.
The staff made us feel very welcome with a friendly “ Bon jour” each time we went past the 24 hour reception desk. Questions were answered with a smile.
A 10 min walk to the Gardens of Luxembourg in one direction and a 10 min walk to the banks of the Seine in the other direction.
We caught Ubers and walked a lot around the different areas of Paris but there were metro stations nearby.
There is even a tiny lift so no walking up flights of stairs with luggage.
We stayed in large hotels on this same holiday and honestly we prefer this quiet little hotel. A small breakfast area where you can look out onto the street was much more pleasant than the large hotels with noisy, busy breakfast areas.
We miss looking out our windows at the Welcome Hotel and would definitely stay there again if we were lucky enough to be in Paris in the future.

Quick stay but not a good breakfast choice

Thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay in Paris. Regarding your feedback, we are sorry to hear that Friday morning's breakfast was disappointing. On that day, the staff member responsible for breakfast experienced transportation issues getting to work and arrived late. It was an unforeseen situation; our reception team did their best to manage both the front desk and breakfast service. Unfortunately, as service was scheduled to begin at 7:00 AM, they were unable to prepare the sausages and eggs in time for opening, although these items were added to the buffet shortly thereafter. The timing was far from ideal, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
