Few days in Paris
Visited with my husband, mother and her American partner. We travelled by taxi from the airport. CDG is a long long way from City of Paris. Therefore the journey to the hotel was very long. The hotel is down a narrow street, so the cab had to double park for us to get out. Were were greeted by the hotel staff, who proceeded to escort us to our rooms. There are lifts to each floor, however the lifts are small. This is a beautiful and unusually designed hotel. It has very many beautiful design features. These will be seen from the photos. We visited when Paris was having a heatwave. The building was in the shade and was cool. The rooms were well proportioned. The hotel had a very French olde worlde vibe to it. The rooms had all necessary amenties that you would expect, tea making facilities and a safe. Maybe not as many outlet sockets as you would like, but it was an old building. They had a Spa centre in the basement. We were only there for a few days, so no time to try this out. The showers were great with good pressures. My mother and her partner, were in her 70s and managed the small bathrooms ok. The beds were comfortable. We ate out at night. We had breakfast there only, which was mainly continental. You could order additional items at a cost, off the menu.

Beautiful hotel close to the Seine
This hotel is a gem. It is tucked away on a quiet street close to the Seine. It is among the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. I stayed in the appartment on top floor on one occasion and a smaller room on the second occasion. The appartment is spectacular with a balcony with a view of the rooftops of Paris. It is quite expensive, but definitely worth it. The smaller rooms are also charming. The breakfast is excellent. And most importantly, the staff are genuinely friendly. This is a perfect base for exploring Paris.

Superb experience
wonderful Parisian experience. We stayed in suite with large terrace perfect in the Paris heatwave absolute dream experience. Slightly darkroom and tiny shower you need to be aware of but the hotel is heavenly and the suite glorious.

A Parisian Jewel
I decided to splurge on this trip to Paris, and I am grateful I did. L'Hotel is indeed a jewel. The architecture, the furnishings, the atmosphere, and the staff are second to none. An all-around delight!
