great friendly hotel

15 minute walk from the station mostly up a pedestrianised road. Situated just behind a disused church on a quiet street, lovely location. Friendly welcome and simple check in even though we arrived early. False beams and false window in the room gave a lovely effect and the ceiling fan instead of ac was a novelty but seemed to work just as well. Good size room, comfortable and quite Host personally served breakfast which was standard french fare but very fresh and plenty. Just on the edge of the old city, close to all the things you would want to visit and a perfect stay

Perfect hotel in Nimes

Out walking tour company booked us in here and we couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel was an easy fifteen minutes of flat walking from the station. On arrival we were greeted enthuastically by our host who even carried the bags up the two flights of wide stairs to our room.
The room was large with two comfortable double beds and a TV. We both slept very comfortably and late as the room was very quiet.
The hotel is very central to all the sights of the city and is located in the edge of the old city, also close to a huge number of restaurants.
Breakfast was the usual French continental.
Wifi was free and fast.
We will stay here the next time we are in Nimes.

Good central location, but outdated rooms

Good location central to restaurants and shops, and attractions. However, rooms are outdated, linen is tired. Staff a friendly though. We didn't have breakfast, we went to the Les Halls market and had coffee in La Comptoir des Halles opposite which was perfect.

Central

Central hotel to the main sites and attractions in Nimes. Excellent eateries close by. Rooms adequate, clean and comfortable. We were touring on a motorcycle had garaged our bike in the garage for 8 euro. English not spoken by lady at reception, but Manager Man spoke good english and there were no issues. Breakfast was nice, with normal continental fare on offer. Highly recommended for a central location in Nimes.

Quiet and clean

It's a 5 minute walk from train station. On the NE edge of old Nîmes. 8 euros for breakfast that we declined and is not part of the room fee. We took a private bathroom. Had tv as well. We're able to choose between 3 rooms and negotiate price a little. Showing Trip Advisor price helps.
