Stay at the castle
A very pleasant stay in a place full of charm and character. The castle has retained its original style, which gives it an authentic and peaceful atmosphere. The bedding was very comfortable. A huge thank you to the owners and the caretaker of the castle, all absolutely lovely, warm, and attentive throughout the stay, with a true sense of hospitality that makes all the difference. Thank you also for the quality of the breakfasts and meals, which were excellent. A very beautiful experience that we will remember.

Deplorable
Upon arrival, the intercom does not work! We had to call. Annoying! Beautiful estate, which is unfortunately not maintained, and also the animals in the park, we had a room with a mezzanine, that is very nice, however the toilet and bathroom had very little ventilation, 2 towels for 4 people, no bath mat, a machine that is supposed to cool the room, which does not do so, therefore no AC, plus it makes a monstrous noise that prevents you from sleeping, a fridge with water bottles, appreciated given the heat, but 3 bottles for 4 people!?
Bucket of dirty water and cleaning mop in the hallway, only one outlet for the fridge, the lamp, and the outlet to charge the phone, not comfortable!
No Wi-Fi,
Pool blue but cloudy, swimming with the sanitizer machine hose, not practical.
We saw in the park, near the pool, the carcass of one of the estate's animals, which had been injured, it's a shame it wasn't removed!
The entrance door to the hallway to go up to the rooms was damaged at the lock!!!
To leave, we did not understand that we had to pay in cash, so we had to go to the Carrefour nearby, and the owner thought we were going to leave without paying, weird!? Had she been robbed?
On the other hand, breakfast and the previous evening's dinner were very good and hearty.
I do not recommend this establishment, too many things that are not right.

Nous sommes très surpris par votre message et par la publication de ces photos, qui présentent une situation totalement sortie de son contexte.
Les animaux présents sur notre domaine sont suivis régulièrement par un vétérinaire et font l’objet de soins attentifs.
Le chien que vous évoquez s’était récemment blessé lors d’un incident avec un autre animal ; la plaie a été prise en charge dès que celle-ci a été identifiée.
Les affirmations de maltraitance que vous publiez sont donc inexactes et portent gravement atteinte à notre réputation.
Nous restons bien entendu disponibles pour toute personne souhaitant obtenir des informations factuelles sur les conditions de vie et de soins de nos animaux.

Disappointing experience, bad choice.
Mixed Welcoming as we were not having dinner. Poor room, dodgy sheets, lighting limited to bedside lamps, smell of fairly strong humidity. Toilet and bathroom ok. Beautiful view of the countryside.
Swimming pool filthy, dilapidated. We left at dawn, without breakfast. Far too expensive for what is on offer. Avoid! Hotels in town much better for the same price.

Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre séjour n’ait pas répondu à vos attentes. Concernant l’accueil, nous accueillons tous nos hôtes avec la même attention, qu’ils choisissent ou non de dîner sur place.
Pour la chambre, nos draps sont changés et lavés selon un protocole strict entre chaque séjour. L’éclairage est volontairement doux afin de préserver une atmosphère calme, mais nous restons toujours disponibles pour fournir un éclairage complémentaire si nécessaire.
Concernant la piscine, celle-ci fait l’objet d’un entretien régulier. N’ayant reçu aucune remarque de votre part durant votre séjour, nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu l’occasion de vérifier ce point avec vous sur le moment.
Enfin, le petit déjeuner étant servi à des horaires définis, votre départ très matinal explique son absence.
Nous prenons néanmoins note de vos remarques, qui nous aident à améliorer constamment la qualité de nos prestations.
