... just different ...

I have already been here twice with a small group and L'Instant was our "base station" each time to explore the secrets of Mount Odilienberg.
And I couldn't think of a better place to stay for this purpose!
Pierre and Marie are open-minded, warm and accommodating; Marie's cooking skills (hot dinner) are exquisite; we can put together a snack for the day from the rich, mostly organic breakfast buffet according to our personal preferences; the rooms and the large garden are individually and lovingly designed; a small seminar room is available for meditation and for following up on the experiences on the mountain and the house itself is wonderfully quiet, right on the edge of the forest.
I will definitely come back with a group - and maybe alone if I need a break - because it is ... simply different here ...

Think outside the box!

Finally a home different from the others. A warm welcome, fresh food from the garden with a talented cook. An escape from mercantile diktats. Hospitality full of humanity.

Everything were nice, clean, and the bed was Very comfy. The only two things are the soundproof and quite complicated to get there. (We drove in late at night)

Fantastic place

Pension L'Instant is a fantastic place to stay in Le Hohwald. It is a lovely walk out of the village but still close enough to shops and restaurants. Ideal would be to opt for full board, as the cooking is absolutely delicious. (No wine, however; though perhaps it is up to patrons to bring.). The breakfast was the most copious and delicious breakfast we had on our weeklong hike through the Alsace. Everything was homemade and fresh--all vegetarian. Management is very attentive and kind. Rooms are spacious and simple. It was terrific.

The daughter was very friendly and helpful. The food was fine and they were very welcoming. Nice dog
