Great place

We had a wonderful night. A charming, welcoming host who takes great care of us. The setting is magnificent, peaceful, and very relaxing, in the heart of the Haut-Var hills. We fully enjoyed the jacuzzi, a true moment of relaxation. The services are excellent; everything was perfect. A place where one truly feels good. We will return with great pleasure!

Excellent stay

A gift box from our daughter surprised us in the most pleasant way.
Warm welcome from the owners, attentive and caring.
The Sunflower room was very well equipped with a private terrace overlooking the garden with various aromatic and Mediterranean flowering plants. A bastide that lives up to its name, tastefully furnished.
The added bonus was a large pool, sun loungers, and a jacuzzi that completed our dream stay.
Not to mention our dinner, worthy of a great chef, prepared with care and delightful flavors.
The buffet breakfast truly satisfied us.
The free parking and the villa not far from the village allowed us to visit the village without difficulties.
One small downside, do not rely on the GPS.
A big thank you to our hosts, we hope to return with pleasure.

Provence sweetness

We spent two days in excellent conditions. Very welcome, beautiful setting, very treeed and flowery, old authentic building with a very nice refined Provencal decoration. Very nice room, nice decor and charming small terrace. The hosts are attentive and very attentive to expectations. Hearty and varied breakfast. Good refined restoration. All with a perfectly correct price/quality ratio. To advise to come and recharge in a charming setting and enjoy the beautiful region.

ABSOLUTELY AVOIDABLE

We had received a Wonderbox “love party” that we chose to use at La Vieille Bastide. The result: the evening ended... with a return home.
Two 30-mile round trips for nothing.
Upon arrival, we are informed that breakfast would be extra: €14 per person, while the Wonderbox offer clearly indicates that it is included. The day before, the manager had confirmed that breakfast in the room was included, and that only the buffet in the room was charged 14 € for the couple.
When we refused to pay this unjustified supplement, when we had just arrived, the boss, also a cook, told us text:
“Under these conditions, I do not make you food.”
We had booked a dinner for €34 per person.
We were shocked by the way we were treated: unacceptable statements, aggressive and totally disrespectful.
Faced with such a situation, we called the gendarmes. Their advice was clear: don't stay. That’s what we did.
Back home, we discovered with dismay that other guests had similar experiences at this property. That says a lot.
In short, run.
For us, this establishment absolutely does not deserve to be trusted or to be left any euro. Our experience was disastrous from beginning to end.

Really good experience.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. A good experience with good treatment of the host couple. The price level was satisfactory.
