The room was bare bones and really plane with not a lot of charm. We did have a problem with our original room, but they came through with another one quickly.

I booked two nights but only stayed for one. The hotel is basically an industrial park which has been bought by hotel people but they have only done the bare minimum to have it be an actual “hotel”. My room had no curtains or shade to control the darkness of the room - bookshelf/etc mounted on wall clearly from a past office. The hotel is a long way from anything worth visiting. One thing I will give them: the WiFi worked perfectly!

No-nonsense accommodation

A no-nonsense apartment style hotel. Located on harbour front in Dunkirk. No ambience or atmosphere, but clean and functional. Area surrounding it is dead at night. Unfortunately limited hotel parking, but street parking available.

We stayed here as a family for one night. A no nonsense apartment hotel on the harbour in Dunqerque. When you arrive late this is a completely dead neighborhood, so make sure you have had dinner prior to arriving. And unfortunately the hotel parking is limited which did was not stated in the description. But street parking was ample and we fortunately managed without a secure private parking. Do not expect ambience or similar, it is as mentioned a no-nonsense accommodation and nothing other than that - it did the job, room was huge and clean with a small kitchenette included.

I will not go back!

The only really positive point about this establishment is its location, close to the train station, the city center, and by a basin. And its style, which blends into the local architecture.
For an aparthotel, the studio's equipment is quite minimalist, the television is tiny, the bedding is very average, and the cleanliness is mediocre.
To be avoided absolutely in case of a heatwave: I knew the rooms were not air-conditioned, but mine was poorly positioned, sun heating it up in the evening, stifling! Studio 111 above the reception, whose awning traps heat. Window open: noise and lack of privacy! Actually, very poor insulation!
I did not have breakfast, which is why I am not mentioning it.
