Great Stay with great hosts.

Hotel Bertrand is a budget friendly place to put your head down with great staff, thats why it gets 5 stars for me. You get what you pay for and for us it was worth it. The food was great. The rooms dated but spacious and teh beds comfy. A fixed menu at 20 Euro we had plenty to eat - our breakfast was included in the price too - simple but good enough.
The rooms are what they are for the money - the staff were so accomodating I would definetely go back if passing and needed somewhere to stay.
Don't go out of your way to stay here, but if you are in Bar le Duc, it's certainly do-able.

Anti-commercial person who did not recognize my comments and even less negotiate a counterparty
To flee this old-fashioned frame and those people who destroy the image of Service

Simple but OK.

It is a simple family-run hotel. We were on a motorcycle tour of France and found the hotel with the motorcycle navi.
The room was OK and we slept well. It is certainly frequently visited by craftsmen and trade travelers. It's not a tourist hotel.

Hotel gloque

Very old hotel, dirty and horrible welcome, we think that the owners are more than tired of receiving people like the facade of the hotel. Unfortunately the potential is there, but there is no more maintenance being done!!

Stomach churning

My first impression was that the place was filthy, the owner was wearing a polo shirt covered in dribbles and food. Very off putting and made my stomach churn, we left as soon as we could.
They couldn’t speak any English and tried to use translation on their mobile.
