Such a lovely country house - a hidden gem!

This place is special! The owner couple have completely renovated each room to be unique. Lovely breakfast with fresh homemade buns is served on the beautiful veranda. Nice sauna too! We truly enjoyed our stay at Antero's and Riitta's place in July on Saaremaa, we will be back.

"Small Paradise on Earth"

We spent 4 days in this lovely B&B. Nice and quiet place in beautiful historical surroundings. Very good breakfast and perfect location for exploring the Island. Wood heated sauna was relaxing. Easy to reach from Tallinn.

Special place for soul

Very cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful hosts. Our house was nicely decorated, every small thing was selected with love. You felt like staying home. Surroundings and nature was incredible!
Buildings excellently located, providing privacy for everybody staying there. Marvellous breakfast. The best place in Saaremaa!

this place is from another world

Staying in Metsara is like a holiday in a world long gone. Arriving to this beautiful place is like stepping out of a time machine - all the houses are very old but renovated beautifully and respectfully. It felt like a very special treat, being able to actually stay in a place rich with so much history. The surroundings are peaceful and nature is everywhere. Antero and Riitta are such great hosts, always ready to help out with good tips. Riitta's breakfast was superb, the most beautiful and lovingly arranged collection of food we've ever seen on our travels. She has made a special effort of changing bits of it so we wouldn't have to eat the same thing twice.
Antero heated the sauna for us in the evenings.
Antero is full of interesting stories, we would have loved to stay longer and learn more about the place, Estonian life during and after the sowjet union and about his life as a rock star. Thank you so much for having us. We would love to come back and shut out the rest of the world for some time again.
