Good location, great staff

Staff were really helpful and accommodating, despite my lack of Spanish. I also arrived late on a delayed flight and had to wake them up. I felt bad, but they were accommodating. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The place is well located in La Florenza, an interesting artistic part of Quito that felt very safe.

I stayed at Hostal de La Mancha before a group trip. The Hostal was mostly clean except for mold in the bathroom. Hot water came and went. When the water was hot it could actually burn you, otherwise it was pretty cold water. The beds and pillows were extremely hard. Breakfast was decent, nothing special.

Muy Bueno

I spent 5 nights at Hostal de la Mancha, the rooms were very clean and tidy. I enjoyed my stay there. The staff were very friendly. I stayed in a room with a view of the city on the third floor. The hotel is at the edge of town and is a very great spot.

Excellent accommodation, service and location - Highly Recommended!

A great find! I visited Ecuador for a week on business and remained in the country for almost three more afterwards. Initially, I only intended to stay for a few days at the Hostal de la Mancha but liked it so much that I remained for two weeks. And then returned again after a few days for almost another week. Colleagues stayed at a Hotel nearby and paid twice the price for significantly inferior facilities and service.
The room was brilliant! Clean, spacious, comfortable bed and excellent Wifi included in the price. All rooms have huge picture windows with stunning views out over the city to the mountains beyond. The room was quiet and I was able to work and sleep with no disturbances.
The Owner was friendly, extremely helpful and could speak good English. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. Breakfast was adequate and included in the price. I was able to park my hire vehicle inside a locked courtyard with 24/7 access. Ideal for my very early morning departures.
In summary, an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!

We always feel very well taken care of

We (adult couple, teenage son) have stayed here several times for various combinations of work and tourism. It is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with reasonably-sized rooms & closets, good plumbing and a reliable wireless network. It's a close walk to many restaurants and the shopping district of La Mariscal, yet you can count on getting a good night's sleep without any street noise. This hotel is privately owned, not part of a large chain - and you can feel the difference in the level of personal attention from the owners and staff, who will gladly call you a safe cab or tell you how to find the nearest drugstore. The only downside is the skimpy breakfasts (juice, toast, coffee), but there are several shops quite nearby where you can buy cheese or sliced ham or fresh fruit to supplement, if you wish.
