A return visit to Evalina for us, we received a lovely complimentary wine and fruit tray waiting for us in our room

Arrived 5/5/26 for a 2 week B&B stay. We were greeted by a lovely lady who checked us in very efficiently. She later assisted us in getting a post card home too, nothing was too much trouble for our whole stay. The reception is lovely and comfortable and ALWAYS had a smell of decadence. The room was good (3rd floor partial sea view if you poke you head over the balcony). Bed was large and comfortable. Air-conditioning was excellent through the hotel including our room. Housekeeping ladies were also excellent, room cleaned, refreshments and bathroom supplies topped up. Towels were freshly supplied every day .. a massive shout out to their hard work, the room was always completed by our return after lunch. Breakfast dining was good, a variety of choices hit and cold, the staff were also efficient and friendly without being over bearing ☺️. We didn’t spend much time by the pool (we are beach lovers) but when we did, it was clean (though a little cramped at times I would imagine given its small area). The pool car staff and lifeguard were engaging and efficient. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing comfortable holiday.

Excellent stay

Had a great stay at this hotel would recommend. Location is excellent, breakfast is great. Alex behind the pool bar is an absolute star, would get on a flight from England just to talk about life and drink frappes with him.

Great location

This was our third time staying in Protaras, this being the second time in the main area. It’s a great location for being in the position of having nice walks to Fig Tree and beyond and the other way to Pernera.
The Evalena is right on the promenade but away from the cramped, huge over populated hotels in Fig Tree. It’s so quiet, our room was at the back of the hotel so overlooking some fields and the church high up in the hillside in the background. The sun is on the back in the afternoon.
The room was of a good size with a small fridge. There were complimentary bottles of water and red wine and a plate of fruit upon arrival, a nice touch.
The only thing I can say is there are not enough hangers in the wardrobe but that’s the only thing.
The pool is of a good size and there are plenty of sunbeds around it and there were always free ones in May. Towels not allowed on beds before 8am, the odd ones who can’t wait but not a problem at all.
The staff on breakfast duty are so polite and efficient, your plates removed in the blink of an eye but they are not intrusive or remove before your finished. Good breakfast not warm enough sometimes and there certainly is not enough choice of bread. Toasting bread was about it. Plenty of other choice, good coffee from machine and fresh egg station.
All in all another good stay in Cyprus, helped by this hotel. We would return

Fab hotel

Fab location, right on the beach front, very clean, staff all polite and friendly, short walk to the strip, although strip not really my thing, but some good shops and bars, best restaurant is Yianni Marie, a stones through from Evalena, food absolutely amazing, location, absolutely amazing and service is the best I have ever experienced, highly recommend, best place for fast food MASA fast food, great portions, very tasty and again , brilliant customer service. Trips, a must is Mr John, Famagusta Varosha tour, amazing. Also had a great boat trip with Medusa.
