You can’t beat the price! And the location is pretty good as well — there is a huge shopping mall across the street with a food court and many other restaurants. I did not use public transportation, but there were a lot of buses coming and going.
You register for your room in one of the newer dormitory buildings and, in my case, you drive a little ways to a different dormitory (much older and worn out) where your room is. The shower room and toilets are down the hall from your room in the building I was in (the cheapest room available, twin bed). Don’t expect any hotel amenities here and you won’t be disappointed!
Most of the pictures on the reservation app appear to be for the much fancier and more expensive rooms that didn’t even show up as a possibility to reserve when I was on the app so I am not sure why they show pictures of rooms that are not what you are getting. These more expensive rooms do show up on the website for these university accommodations and are still cheaper than a “real” hotel in Quebec City, but certainly much more than the $50 a night rooms in the old and tired building that I experienced.
The older building is a square with a central courtyard. If you keep on going eventually you’ll find your room!
Make sure you pay for parking when you register for your room; it’s an easy scan their image and follow the directions thing. There is a laundry room in the basement. Make sure you get the code for the app when you register if you need to wash

We had a horrible and bad exprience in this room!
Very hot no fan even i request, smelly bed sheets and bed bugs bite all around our body , very noisy from the downstairs that echoing we cannot able to sleep and evacuated the same day we checken in, i called cs bit difficult to reach them to cancel our stay. Uncomfortable

Smells bad in room, hallway, and bathroom. Room was very hot in summer with poor ventilation. Room is very cramped for 2 people. Place is decently cheaper than other options though, so a decent place to stay on a budget

Staff is very friendly, only challenge is the heat in room, and no availability of table fan or ceiling fan.

Stayed there several times over the years. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Shared washrooms and showers are always clean. Our room was a single dorm with an extra cot bed. Cot bed wasn't very comfortable and the room is on the small side especially for two people. No AC so it can get a little stuffy. On the positive there is a sink in the room. Keep in mind that parking is extra but it's only $5.20 for 24 hours. There are kitchens in each building, but we couldn't find the one in our building. It's a cheap option, but I'm not convinced that it's the best value for what you're getting. On the fence if we'll stay there again.
