Perfect Rest Spot when using the Polar Bear Express
What surprised me was even though they are the only spot in town they don't let that affect the service they supply. The place is clean despite the dirt roads. it is nicely decorated, The large photos behind your bed give the illusion you are sleeping in a canoe on a quiet lake.
The rooms are equipped with TV, microwave, Frig and coffee and working AC. Most guests are simply staying for a break between train rides. It is perfect for that So, drop your bags off , check in and head for the river. The included breakfast is as good as any big name motel provides. The staff are helpful and let us keep bags there until departure time. They are also conveniently located across the street from the college and supermarket where we picked up a rotisserie chicken and potato salad. There are no restaurants operating as we speak. The rail car museum is next door too . You can walk through on your way to the station. We tried to take an evening stroll but the mosquitos would have none of that. I advise wearing long sleeves, plastic throwaway gloves, a hat and mosquito net if you are going to the Provincial Park or going out at sunset.
If you are staying because you think you can't see Moosonee and Moose factory in 3 hours it is unnecessary. But if you need a rest between train trips its the perfect spot.

Nice but High price we had to pay because there were no other comitative motels to stay.
