Capsule Residence har en god beliggenhed i Golden Square Mile-distriktet i Montreal. Det ligger 2 minutters gang fra Ogilvy, 700 m fra Centre Bell og mindre end 1 km fra Le Centre Eaton de Montreal.

The staff was very fliendry and my pod was quite comfortable. I got sick the first few days and was with a broken foot and they were very accommodating..

This may have been the worst capsule hotel I've ever stayed.
The rooms where the capsules were located were disgusting. Dirty, with suitcases and shoes scattered everywhere, and a terrible smell.
The space inside the capsule is actually decent, with clean sheets and comfortable pillow. But the walls are made of a thin wooden plate. The result is you can hear a lot of noise from the other capsules.
And what a noisy place this room was! You could hear people slamming the capsule doors and stomping their feet at 2 a.m. I complained to the front office and heard that they couldn't do anything. Really?
To complete all the mess, people vaping and smoking near the building and bringing smoke inside. Even with a clear note that you can't smoke within 9 meters from the building.
I'm a world traveller and I spent a lot of time in capsule hotels in China, Japan, Brazil and Europe, and I can certainly tell that this was the worst experience. I'm so glad it was only for one night, that I could barely sleep. The only thing good about this place was the location, and that's it.

there are a lot of bugs and flies in the residence which is kinda annoying sometimes the bathrooms and showers arent that clean and i wish there were more hangers in the showers

My daughter and I stayed at Capsule Residence for three nights. We were very grateful to the staff for allowing us to check in early at 8:00 a.m. after our red-eye flight landed at 6:15 a.m. Their kindness made a big difference, as we were able to get some much-needed rest before starting our visit.
Overall, the staff were friendly and hardworking, and we could see they were doing their best to maintain the property. However, there were several challenges that affected our stay. The upstairs bathrooms were not always clean, and in the mornings we often found toilets that had not been flushed properly.
The biggest issue for us was the noise. My daughter had difficulty sleeping throughout our stay due to sounds from other guests, including footsteps, luggage being packed late at night, conversations, and people smoking despite the posted no-smoking rules. As a result, she was unable to get a full night’s sleep and found the environment quite stressful.
On our last evening, we left for only a few hours. When we returned, we discovered that a live plant cutting we had placed in a plastic water bottle inside our capsule was missing. We were both surprised and disappointed, as it had special meaning to us.
This experience helped us realize that capsule-style accommodation may simply not be the best fit for our travel needs. While we appreciate the efforts of the staff and the convenience of the location, we would likely choose a different style of lodging for future trips.

The concept is excellent; but, the delivery needs improvement. For after only three months open it does not have regular maintenance. Toilet paper holders down in more than one bathroom. Housekeeping for the general area is poor, but the Capsules were good and clean. AC was not working on the ground level( and the staff were aware of this). One has to assume management would have known. Hallway floors were dirty everywhere. Three of the bathrooms were out of order( a staff maintenance person could have fixed these). Tv' in rooms were not working ( or there were no instructions for use- my Capsule remote needed batteries). A large TV in the common area would have been wonderful. One of the charging plugs in the common area was not working.
Having said all this in hoping these will be addressed I still enjoyed three nights. Restaurant choices nearby are excellent, and there is a grocery store nearby.
