Great location

The location is great. The price is alittle steep considering the hotel has nothing but a bed. But I guess you pay for the location.

Not worth the price

The only wifi in the room is shared with the entire mall and unsecure I did a speed test around 11pm so no mall guests and was still only 15mbps Netflix kept buffering it was so bad, the bed was ultra firm and uncomfortable, was woken up at 8am both mornings of our stay to hammering and drilling so on top of the terrible sleep from the hard bed we also got woke up early, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a hotel other establishments have much more value for your money

Not My Fantasy Land

Saving you the trip to my Non-Fantasyland Hotel review:
The mall itself? Calgary malls are better priced, better laid out, and have better deals at exactly the same stores, namely Gap, Sport Chek and Bikini Village.
The room-service food? Cattle-grade. They lure you in with surfing, then cancel it.
And the hotel’s advertised “half-price” Waterpark admission? Basically a joke if you stay midweek during their “Value” period. Regular admission is roughly $70, but during Value days the gate price already drops to around $45 per adult and child. We were told the hotel’s half-price benefit doesn’t apply to that already-discounted Value price, seriously undermining the supposed perk of staying at the hotel.
Then comes the real kicker: during our visit, roughly 2/3 of the slides were closed, leaving essentially one kid-friendly waterslide open, the Howler. So you get “Value” admission because much of what you're supposedly paying to experience isn't operating.
We still made the best of it. I did the big drop/loop about 10 times and somehow came out more beat-up than surfing an actual mountain wave.
There is also a legitimate safety question about mixing adults in tubes with people surfing the breaking waves. Even for a reasonably capable surfer, getting clear of a tube after being nailed by the whitewater isn't simple.
Overall, there was considerably more Fantasyland in the marketing than in the experience we actually received.

Best stay ever!

Very welcoming and kind. The staff made this trip top-notched. They were extremely helpful and made this trip a wonderful one. The best stay in my books for sure. We will be going back for sure.
