very central, nice hotel, comfortable bedding. Straightforward, you tend to know what you will get, and that's what you get, and I found the price/quality very good.
One small thing is there is no kettle in the room, slightly strange contraption that does coffee that also heats water if you skip the coffee bag but I prefer a regular kettle. Also only 1 coffee bag in the room.
Water pressure not great.

Great Hotel

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was beautiful. So clean and quiet. We had an extra night in Calgary and ended up booking the next night again at this hotel. Service was great and great location. Highly recommend!

When we arrived the hotel was overbooked, so they asked if we would like to be upgraded to the “Dorian” side, same building. The Dorian is a “signature” series hotel which is themed around Oscar Wildes Dorian Gray. It has the craziest wallpaper, furniture, all kinds of little touches. We were there attending Chasing Summer and when we came back at night, still in mental party mode, the room was really a cool place to just wind down. Absolutely loved it! The staff were really helpful and positive. The first room they upgraded us to was a joined room with the one next door, and when we said we actually would like to not be joined to another room they had zero issues with that and moved us. I would happily, and will happily, stay there again if returning to Calgary in the future. The room was in the top five things we loved about our trip!

Room was clean and the hotel is very well maintained. Friendly staff and the breakfast was delicious.

Excellent hotel. Front desk was understaffed at check in, however, the person on duty was good. Toiletries were sparse- no shower cap, body lotion. Enjoyed the Wilde Restaurant.
