Nice hostel in Port Macquarie

Beachside backpackers was a nice hostel to stay in for a few nights whilst we visited Port Macquarie. We arrived late by greyhound bus and they sent some brilliant late check in instructions, which was really useful. It is about a 12 minute walk to the hostel from the bus stop. We stayed in a private room, which was not very big but cosy and had a decent TV. I needed to use earplugs to drown out the various noises around from birds and other guests, but the bed was comfy so got a good nights sleep. The common room looked nice but we didn't spend much time in there. We didn't store food there as the fridges and cupboards looked absolutely jam packed. I get the feeling people stay there for a while so people definitely make themselves at home. The bathrooms were basic and the showers weren't brilliant, so I think they might need a little spruce up. We also found that nothing dried in our room and some of our clothes felt a bit damp when we left. However, we did stay after a big dump of rain. The location of the hostel is absolutely fantastic for the beach and shops. We came back one night to find people smoking weed outside of our bedroom, which was interesting! It's definitely a quirky/indie vibe so if you like that definitely stay here. I'd also like to add that Port Macquarie is a lovely place to stop along the east coast, so would definitely recommend!

Best Hostel experience!!!

I had the best time staying at Beachside Backpackers!
The hostel is super clean and the atmosphere is so inviting. All the staff are really friendly and happy to help with any questions or suggestions whilst staying in Port Macquarie. Special shout out to Tim, who helped me make my stay so much better.
I highly recommend staying here!!

Crazy chill atmosphere

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night. The small yet surprisingly cozy hostel has a very relaxed setting, making me feel included in the family type atmosphere they got going on. The residents/people working were easygoing and warm-hearted. Facilities included a pool table, foosball table, and beamer/home cinema. Would’ve definitely stayed longer if I could. Also the dog was very cute . *****

Epic hostel

What a place, I had a very enjoyable fiesta, From check-in to goodbye I really enjoyed my stay! Close highly ksitbb@gmail.como town and beaches I highly recommend if you're in town for a night or a week. See you again soon for the next party.

So much love for this place!

This hostel felt like home (but with more wine). We only stayed for 4 days but wish we could have stayed for months. We were so gutted to leave.. Nic and the staff are the most welcoming and friendly bunch. The vibe here is incredible, great WiFi, very clean, endless games and activities. The coastal walk is beautiful and they will drop you off there for free... Nothing is too much bother for these guys. Oh, and as an added bonus, Chilli the dog is adorable.
