Great airport shuttle service and within walking distance to some great restaurants so perfect for a one night stopover

Only if you are desperate

I sent two requests prior to checking in for a quiet room as I’m a light sleeper I was allocated room C a tiny postage stamp sized room at the very end of the building next to the exit so cars are going in and out constantly also the room is situated under the stairs to the upper level and as you open the front door you stare straight into the rubbish bins under the stairs ,At 7.45 AM the assistant came to empty the cabbage bins ,So much for any sleep in with the clashing and banging of the bins being emptied ,When I checked in I was handed a room service menu if I didn’t want to leave the room to use the restaurant and instructed to dial 6 for room service ,Guess what ? No phone in the room ,So I had to use the over priced restaurant anyway ,$32 for a simple burger and a canned fruit juice , The bathroom towels are like pieces of rag ,They are so thin that after just wiping one arm after the shower the towel is sopping wet ,The pillows are stuffed solid so much so that the pillow cases don’t even fit the pillows , There is no wall mirror in the room so you need to use the bathroom to dress ,During the night I wanted to use the bathroom when I turned on the light there were two cockroaches scurrying around in the bathroom basin ,I am a regular motel user in Perth as I live in the country ,I won’t stay here again .

We always do our best to accommodate requests for quieter room locations; however, specific room requests are subject to availability and cannot always be guaranteed.
We appreciate you highlighting the confusion around room service. We are currently reintroducing QR code ordering from our rooms, which will make ordering directly from our restaurant much simpler. Our restaurant pricing is clearly displayed on our menus and we continue to work hard to provide good value to our guests, while balancing rising costs from our suppliers. Compared to most of other establishments in Perth, we do believe to offer competitive pricing. 
We were concerned to read your comments regarding the bathroom and have referred these to our housekeeping and pest-control teams for review. We take cleanliness and pest management seriously and maintain regular procedures in both areas.
We appreciate the detailed feedback and will use the constructive points raised to continue improving the guest experience at the Flag.

Time for upgrade

Visit often over many years. Sadly getting very dated. Ideal being so close to Airport with Shuttle service. My steak , room service cooked exactly as ordered BUT stopped offering Pepper sauce but has 4 others??. Wife's Chicken Schnitzel also well enjoyed. At moment avoid room 43. Specially always ask for room not under/ alongside Steps to first level but nope...reported broken double bed & unusable air-conditioning as sooo noisy. Will always use when flying.

ordinary Hotel, for ordinary day. Nothing fancy, a little old, you can see it, but for my need, as just a place to sleep. It fits. It has a nice bed, heating was OK, a fridge, bathroom fine. Again, ordinary, at a little too much price, but still. OK.

This was perfect for us slightly out dated and req a few repairs here and there but over all was perfect for what we need which was just overnight stay until our flight was ready
