A perfect place to discover Cafayate. Sleeping in the vineyards!
Very beautiful hotel. Spacious room, more than enough, but you can choose a villa. Great amenities with a top-notch massage, indoor pool area and sauna very, very good, just like in the vineyards. I advise you to take a mountain bike and tour Cafayate (10 minutes by bike) with a stop at the square, then return and go to the golf course, it is magnificent. Breakfast very good and restaurant very good. The staff is very attentive!

A one star experience at a 5 star price
The so-called “Deluxe Villas” are, in our experience, not deluxe at all. Villa No. 4 was essentially a cramped triple room, with barely enough space for three single beds, despite being advertised as accommodating two singles and a king-size bed. A large part of the available space is instead allocated to the entrance and bathroom. Do not expect a genuinely deluxe room.
More seriously, during our stay, both the hot water and the heating system failed to work properly. First, there was no hot water; after the maintenance intervention, the water became excessively hot, and the room began to heat uncontrollably, despite the controls indicating the heating was off. Even after the second maintenance intervention, the room floors remained heated, despite everything being switched off. These problems affected a substantial part of our two-night stay and required continuous interactions with personnel who did not speak English.
What made the experience particularly frustrating was not the absence of any intervention: maintenance was eventually sent to the room and tried to address the technical problems. The real issue was how the hotel dealt with the consequences for us as guests. Despite the problems affecting a substantial part of our stay, the manager was unavailable despite our repeated requests to speak with them, and no meaningful attempt was made to make up for what had become a ruined weekend. This is not what you would expect in any property, let alone for the price of this room.
Another surprising aspect of a property presenting itself as five-star was that during both mornings of our stay, no one at reception could communicate with us in English. This made dealing with already serious problems unnecessarily difficult.
The property itself has attractive features and, if you are lucky enough to get a room where everything works, you may have a pleasant stay. But based on our experience, this is a low-reliability property at a premium price, which is not what one expects from a five-star hotel and for the price paid.
The value for money was extremely poor. At this price level, guests should be able to expect not only functioning basic services, but also responsive management when something goes wrong. My advice would be to choose another property if you want to minimise the risk of headaches and frustration during your stay.

The hotel is very bad.
Terrible, they gave me a different room than the one I booked, and it was in terrible condition. The room was full of humidity, and the bathroom was in poor condition. The photos do not match reality. No one took responsibility. I asked to speak with the manager, and I am still waiting for them to attend to me. At breakfast, they even charge for the coffee from the Nespresso machine. The worst hotel.

A relaxed and very good stay. A break in sight
The hotel is very nice. Located between vineyards. With many amenities. The villa we stayed in was super comfortable, spacious and bright. The dining space very rested on view. Very good breakfast.
Some details to take care of: we arrived fifteen minutes early and were not made to go to the room. We also ordered something from the room and we were charged for shipping (in that category of hotel I consider it unnecessary)
A beautiful and impeccably decorated place. A special mention of the plants that accompany on the internal paths: cacti, sages and rosemary everywhere. Beautiful!

Fell long way short of expectations
This hotel is set in a wonderful location in Cafayate. The hotel is large and built with a luxurious feel with beautiful pool area looking out across the Cafayate valley and mountains. There is a spa, indoor pool and relaxation area with small gym. We had massages which were excellent from Paola and Joanna. There is a golf course 4km from the hotel and bikes available.
Sadly it didn't live up to 5 star standards - e.g. the rooms had coffee machines but no pods provided. When we asked for coffee and tea in our room (we thought they had been omitted by mistake) we were charged for them which we didn't expect for 5 star prices. Dinner menu was limited and not all dishes were available nor all wines. Food was not as good at dinner as we have had elsewhere. We had room service on the second night and the burgers were tough and the bread in the buns was stale. At the pool if you wanted drinks you had to ring reception however service from Carlos on all occasions was very good. Breakfast was fine with eggs to order on request
Express (same day) laundry had to be chased and came back clean but poorly pressed. On our final morning we needed to leave early and despite having paid for breakfast we were told if we wanted a picnic roll and coffee for 0630am there was a charge of 35 US dollars per person. Interestingly our guide reported that the reception staff were impolite to them when they collected and dropped off their guests.
Shame as we were really looking forward to staying here and it fell a long way short of expectations. I wouldn't stay here again if I came back or recommend to others.
