Wedding day perfection
We booked the function room here for our wedding reception for the lovely view on the veranda and the location. We also wanted the day to be very chilled out so booked to have a bbq instead of a more formal evening.
From the moment we booked we were helped through every step of the way from planning where to have the dj to having a quiet area for my autistic son. No question felt too much and they were always answered in a timely manner.
On the day all the staff were really attentive and made sure the whole day ran as smoothly as possible. All of our guests commented on how lovely they all were and how great the whole day was. The balcony also had a real wow factor especially with the gorgeous weather we have been having.
We stayed the night after the wedding too and sea view room we had was lovely. Nothing better than having a cuppa watching the boats first thing in the morning. Breakfast the next morning had a great choice of food and it was sad to have to leave.
I will definitely recommend Malmaison to anyone planning a wedding in the future and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Fabulous Aircon !
And a great view of the marina too.
Modern, sleek hotel right on the boardwalk, but it wasn't too noisy due to good double glazing.
Room had a fridge; we had a club premium so not sure if all rooms have them.
Hotel has free parking on level 6 of the multistorey carpark, but is an experience getting in and out !
First time staying at a Malmaison, but we will be back.
Oh, and there's the most amazing mediterranean restaurant, Tavus Lounge and Grill, directly below the hotel 😋
And a great view of the marina too.

What an exceptional Hotel
What an exceptional Hotel - A BIG thanks to SAM, who gave an early Check In, which made such a difference to our stay. The AC in the room worked, unlike our previous htl. The views were stunning overlooking the harbour.
The bar staff attentive and polite.
The 2-girl breakfast team who could had done with some help, were amazing. Running around and taking guest orders. The made to order breakfast was AMAZING - Freshly cooked and hot. Thank to the Chef! Free parking and so easy to get into the town, number 7 bus which is very frequent! We will DEFO be returning here and will tell our friends.

Great staff, great rooms and easy parking. Will stay again
The rooms were both pleasant, contemporary and rich in facilities, especially the large walk in shower.
As my first time in the area, I had difficulty finding the entrance but in the street I bumped into a guy who happened to work in the hotel bar. He went out of his way to guide me to the reception and made me feel very welcome. I later found out his name was filipe. I'm retired from a large hotel chain and understand how valuable people like him are and he is a credit to this hotel together with the other reception staff. When we stay down this way again, this will be our hotel of choice.
The parking was easy in the free 6th floor of the adjacent multistory car park and the area has many restaurants and a supermarket.

Graduation stay
We stayed here for one night, as it was our daughter’s graduation, lovely room with a lovely sea view over the marina.
On arrival the gentleman on reception was very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast the following morning seemed understaffed, as there were a lot of things running out on the cold buffet etc, but on closer inspection it appeared that there were only two waitresses on. We need to give a big thank you to Georgia and Kizzy, who appeared to be trying to do everything, take orders, clear up, refill the cold buffet etc. They just didn’t stop!!
