Location, price and breakfast
One can sum up our accommodation at Hotel Hesteria in Murcia in three words: Location, price and breakfast. The location is really good, close to the cathedral albeit by a narrow one-way street with a couple of reserved parking spaces where you can unload your luggage. There is access to a parking lot a stone's throw away for 22 € per day, but those who can manage to walk a bit will find a much cheaper municipal parking near the Mercado de Abastos de Verónicas, 400 meters away.
The room rates are also good with good standard of our twin room, here were even two pillows where one was narrower than the other. The number of wall sockets was sufficient, however, the toilet was not only Spanish low but also badly placed near the wall (in an otherwise fancy bathroom with a wall in the shower). The staff were very friendly and helpful.
And the best part: The breakfast was really good with everything you could ask for, scrambled eggs, yoghurt and also lots of sweet pastries. This is where I'd like to come back.

Superb location for an overnight stay in Murcia. The standard rooms were adequate, clean and comfortable with efficient air conditioning.
Greeted immediately in arrival by a charismatic and helpful reception duo we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again

Wonderful city and cosy hotel in the city center. Hesperia Murcia was the perfect place to visit on foot all the main attractions. Friendly staff and well mantened building. Good taste breakfast. Hope to come back soon!!
