A lovely stay!! Will definitely return!!
Beautiful hotel and everything has been perfect! The hotel looks like castle as in the name, but I’m actually surprised it’s only has 3* as I feel it should be higher. The room has a super king size bed and well laid out. The hotel is super clean with a very relaxed vibe for the guests. No running for sunbeds and availability always there for guests. Staff are amazing and super friendly and helpful. Breakfast has been spot on too!! Would definitely return.

Very bad experience. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
The location is catastrophic: the hotel is located right next to the Empuriabrava airfield. All day long, planes take off a few meters away, with incessant noise and a strong smell of kerosene, including when you try to enjoy the pool. Constantly, you also see skydivers landing, which completely removes the relaxing aspect of the stay.
In the morning, we discovered that a spot for dump trucks was located right behind the pool. Result: smells of trash that make the moment very unpleasant.
The rooms smell musty and the cleanliness frankly leaves something to be desired. The noise from the plumbing, the ventilation, and the walls so thin that you hear everything... zero rest. The first night, my spouse woke up covered in red bumps. We strongly suspect the presence of bed bugs. We asked to change rooms, which was done, but no real compensation was offered, other than the reimbursement of the medication we had to buy.
Breakfast is also very disappointing: products that seem reheated, low quality, and uninteresting.
Given the price paid, this experience was a huge disappointment. I will not return and I strongly advise against this establishment.

It is recommended
We spent 15 days in this hotel and we leave delighted!
It’s true that it’s located in an artisanal area and you wouldn’t expect to find such a nice little hotel there, but the surprise is really nice.
The rooms are spacious, air conditioned, with a very comfortable king size bed. As read in other comments, some of them overlook the interior of the lobby: it is probably less pleasant, but I think that at the time of booking you are warned. Ours looked outwards, and it was perfect . It’s true that we sometimes hear the neighbors, but honestly we don’t spend our time in the room.
Breakfast is varied, with sweet and savoury, and the poolside bar allows you to relax throughout the day. At lunchtime, it is even possible to enjoy a small restaurant directly at the hotel bar. The pool and mini golf are a real plus.
A big thank you to the whole team with whom we exchanged regularly: Hassan, Hanas, Alex and the leader, all extremely kind, caring and always smiling. We particularly appreciated their wise advice for restaurants, beaches and local activities.
In short, a successful stay, we highly recommend this property!

Hotel in the middle of an industrial...
Very little ventilation for eco rooms, stained sheets on arrival, noise insulation close to zero, in short this is a lot for a room at 180 € per night breakfast included. Luckily, the breakfast was there to save the benefit.
Positive also for the pool and staff
