One of the best places to land after arriving from the jungle

Excellent place. Very quiet despite being so central. Excellent breakfast and very good treatment from the staff.

When good service makes a difference

My experience at Hotel Bora – Iquitos was excellent from start to finish.
From the first contact, the treatment was extremely friendly, accessible and professional. They were always willing to help with everything I requested and I never received a “but.” Everything within their power, they did with the best attitude.
The rooms are very clean, comfortable and have air conditioning, which is greatly appreciated in the climate of Iquitos. The reception service is impeccable and they really make you feel welcome from the get-go.
The location is another great plus: the hotel is very close to the main square and several important places in the city, making getting around easy and practical. In addition, they offer airport pickup, which adds a lot to the experience.
I really recommend Hotel Bora with my eyes closed. It is noticeable when a place works with a vocation of service and care for its guests. I am very grateful for all the support and attention received.
A centrally located, comfortable hotel with exceptional human service.

Try to get a room on a lower floor and see if wi-fi works better

The hotel provided/arranged for free airport pickup by an airconditioned car. Small hotel located in pedestrian only street. No elevator - my room was on the 4th floor. I had a bit of a view of the amazon river. Wi-fi signals were absolutely horrible - couldn't even load a simple search page. Included breakfast was ok. Staff were very friendly.

Highly recommended

Booked 2 stays in this hotel within a week and am completely satisfied. The rooms are bigger than expected, very clean, breakfast delicious and the staff super friendly. Also the location is perfect as many tours start here nearby. And the rooms have air conditioning - wonderful!
Coming directly from the airport, there is a free shuttle service offered by the hotel.

Bora:) surprised me pleasantly

Excellent for us. We just needed place to sleep.
Breakfast:local,fresh,very tasty plus
delicious coffee,desserts and fruits. (Still remember taste of real! eggs...like from my grandma's farm)
Room: clean, simple, silence (third floor, window on the left side of the building) hot water always, no mosquitos (even window was oppened all night)
Staff: always helpful,polite, smiling, discreet. With my poor english and zero spanish, never had communicating problems (there was only one towel, I asked for a second and...they brought 4 immediately)
Shuttle: pick up/drop off- on time.
For SMOKERS:when it rains, there is terrace on the roof, with the city and backwaters view...you can see even Amazon river!
/I smoked by the entrance door, watching exotic! for me "street life"/
Expected much less for this price- nice surprise!
Thanks Bora we will be back soon.
