Charming hotel with a beautiful cenote.
We stayed in a huge bungalow, with all the amenities. It is a very quiet hotel, despite being located on the main road, the nerve center of Tulum beach.
It is a plus to have the private cenote and its bar/restaurant. The staff makes your stay pleasant.

Immersed in nature
Very beautiful property in the middle of the greenery. Cared for in the details, it is perfectly set in nature. Possibility to have breakfast on the patio that is at the property. Excellent location with shops and restaurants nearby. Too bad about the sea ruined by sargassum… but we knew that…

Cancel our reservation at last minute
I booked a non-refundable presidential suite on Booking.com for 2 nights. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay because the hotel cancelled on us just a couple of days before our trip. The explanation was something out of their control happened. I thought it might be damaged by hurricane or something which is understandable. I am a frequent traveler and this kind of things has never happened.
While in Tulum staying at another hotel, we walked by this hotel and it seemed like business as usual. I was previously warned that hotels in Tulum might cancel reservation if someone offering a higher price. If that’s why we were cancelled, that is quite disgusting and dishonest. I couldn’t write reviews on Booking.com because my reservation was cancelled but this is really bad practice that needs to be exposed if it is true.

Unforgettable stay in Tulum's best location in the middle of mangroves and a beautiful cenote
We were 11 nights in Casa Teka and we had a very wunderful stay there. Only 11 suites are building the hotel complex and the rooms are very cozy and spacy. We had even a bose sound system in our room, which was fantastic. The hotel also includes a beautiful cenote, which is also part of a nice restaurant/bar. As hotel guest you can go to the cenote for free, which is great. By the cenote it is very calm and a swim in the cristal clear water is amazing. Furthermore, you can go to the beach club 'Bagatelle', which is in a 5 min walking distance to the hotel. For the beach club you need a reservation, which is also free for hotel guests. Michele (the hotel manager) will help you with anything you need and he made also the beach club reservations for us. The whole staff in Casa Teka is extremly friendly and helping you with anything you need. The cleaning service was just great (barely I've seen such a good cleaning service every day). During the nights you need to know, that you will hear the sound from the surrounded night-/beach clubs. But that was something we are aware of, when we decided to stay for almost two weeks in the center of Tulum beach. And we were for a couple of nights out for partys as well. All in all we had a wonderful stay at Casa Teka and were very sad when the 11 nights were over. We miss Casa Teka and the staff of Casa Teka already and hope that we can return again in the future. The only thing that could be done better would be to offer a small breakfast at the hotel. It has a coffee machine in the room and also in the public area, but this coffee was not that good. However in the immediate neighbourhood there are very nice and cozy coffee shops and the hotel itself also has a very nice restaurant, which makes great nachos al pollo and also serves breakfast. Brilliant stay
Room was really nice maybe need a tv for that hour down time before you go out but that’s the only down side to this place, staff where brilliant, security when you walked in where great, the staff helped co gratulate me on a engagement which was lovely touch, it’s in a amazing location and can’t complain for the price compared to others, definitely stay here again
