A lovely home run by a lovely gentleman

- more like a boutique hotel than a typical hostel. It is someone's beautiful home in a well-to-do area of Eilat. Has private rooms and a dorm.
- lovely outdoor areas with views of the sea and mountains
- a place for animal lovers with a gorgeous dog and friendly cats. Heaven to me!
- the proprietor David is a total sweetheart, such an interesting and lovely gentleman. He called me taxis when needed. Welcomed me with a lovely coffee.
- it's a 10 minute walk down the road to the seafront, coming back up can be a bit taxing as its a hill.
- I had trouble finding good food in Eilat but I recommend 'Fish Market' resteraunt a little bit along the coast or 'Thai Story' a 20 minute walk away on the promenade. The hostel has full cooking and laundry facilities.

Worst experience in Eilat

Everything was dirty. When we arrived the trash bin in the room was full, the toilet and bath were dirty. There was almost empty toilet paper and no additional one. There were no duvet coves at all. The light in the room didn't work.
When I gave my complaints to the staff the only two things that they fixed were an empty trash bin and duvet covers. But I had to ask them several times even for this.
The staff was rude and not hospitable.
Public facilities (kitchen and balcony) were EXTREMELY dirty. I had to wash literally everything before using it. Also the balcony is in really dangerous condition, there are some missing parts in the fence. So if you are traveling with pets or kids they will face a danger of falling from more than 2 meters high straight on the roadway.
Overall, if you have any other options, use it. Don't put yourself and your beloved into danger.
Also they were trying to take payment by cash, not credit card. And was angry when I asked to give me a receipt to approve payment.

Perfect for 1 Night

We stayed here for 1 night after our 2-day tour of Jordan before flying to Istanbul. We stayed in the twin private room, which is technically a bunker. Since the walls are so thick, it's very quiet even though it's right next to the dorm room. For the same reason, the wifi doesn't reach the room very well. The room was clean, and the kitchen was the most spotless I've ever seen at a hostel- the guests do a good job of maintaining the owner's standard of cleanliness. You do have to walk through the dorm room to reach the shared bathroom, but the tile floor makes it easy to do this quietly.
There is not a lot to do or eat near the hostel- it's in a residential area, but it's a short taxi or bus ride to the beach and shops.

Excellent place

Lovely villa with ambience of home. Very friendly owners, excellent location, clean, perfect terrace with grateful arbor and hammock, beautiful view. It was a short but comfortable stay! Highly recommended place!

My perfect visit

The staff - Victorya and the other guy, were great!! Very nice and polite.
Supper quiet! Supper clean!! We were surprised how comfortable the stay was.
Even visco pillows :)
The Terrance and garden was also supper clean - cozy vibe :)
We already booked it again for September and April
