A very disgusting staff very mean not even to smile the pure person I have known in my life but today sava has me situation is good it will never know what is called peace I will never forgive them

If you need a roof to sleep in

Arrived here on December 31st, Small family run hotel. Don't expect anything special, there is no breakfast, very small room, decent bathroom, no wardrobe. Strong smell of smoke when going up to the rooms (no lift). Good location, 8 minutes from the metro and close to Rue Oberkampf. Simply take this hotel if you just need a roof to sleep in and plan to be out all day.

Evitare

Dirty, outdated and a complete no. It's not the best nor worst location but it's not hotel standard. One plug socket in the room!!! There was a Stanley knife left in the corridor from some maintenance works. The only good thing was the boy who carried our heavy rucksacks upstairs and being able to leave our bags early.

What a shame!

I would be ashamed to put to my name to this business.
-Very outdated, I stayed in a single room, only one shower room on the downstairs floor. At least 10 flights of stairs with a toilet on every landing, however none with locks. Not sure if other rooms have en-suites inside, but guessing the age of the building probably not.
-Not really worth the 35 euros a night. Bedding wasn't fresh (had other peoples hair on it) with blankets that look so old and dirty.
Paint peeling, mould growth everywhere. broken windows. was freezing and no heat. Summer would be dreadful with no fan or air con.
-You seem to have to check in with the front desk every time you come back to the motel otherwise they chase you up the stairs.
-The owners are either very new at this or have gotten past the point of caring.
+Room was cleaned and bed made daily.
+Close to about 5 metro stops.
+outside noise is fairly quiet (however if people are using the stairs it is very loud and echoes. You can also hear through walls quite easily, I heard others alarms and conversations).

Dormire sotto un ponte sarebbe stato più igienico

Inizio con due parole: indescrivibile e imbarazzante. Appena sono entrato nel bagno della stanza ho chiesto alla mia ragazza: "ma ti sei tagliata le unghie nella doccia?", e lei ha ovviamente risposto "assolutamente no!". E niente, come accoglienza abbiamo trovato delle unghie mummificate nella doccia. Finestra rotta, non si chiudeva. Su due prese totali (nessuna in bagno) solo una funzionava, ma era penzolante e molto pericolosa.
Bagno sporco e con muffa ovunque, con relativa porta che non si chiudeva. Ma soprattutto, in 5 notti, ci hanno cambiato lenzuola una sola volta.
Ma finiamo con la ciliegina sulla torta: una sera non riuscivamo ad addormentarci perché sentivamo dei piccoli rumori. A un certo punto accendiamo la luce e troviamo niente meno che un topo! Era entrato da una piccola fessura nel bagno, quindi da lì è poi scappato ma siamo stati costretti a coprire le fessure della porta del bagno (perché ribadisco, non si chiudeva!) con il tappetino del bagno...
Il personale tutto sommato è cordiale, ma non può compensare l'obrobrio che ti fanno trovare. Andate altrove!
