Hotel économique bien situé, idéal pour les sportifs

J' ai passé une semaine à faire du Vtt autour de Jussac. J' ai apprécié de pouvoir ranger mon Vtt dans l' hotel, et d' avoir pu bénéficier d' un très bon plateau repas en dehors des heures dédiées.
J' ai pu aussi nettoyer au jet d' eau mon Vtt.
Il y a de nombreuses randonnées à faire autour de Jussac, à vélo, à pied.
C' est aussi le point de départ de nombreuses excursions dans le Cantal.
J' apprécie la gentillesse des gérants qui ont tout fait pour que mon séjour soit agréable.
C' est mon 4 ème séjour au Prado.

Not a great welcome

Arrived Sunday afternoon after long journey to be told restaurant was closed Sundays. I had not been told this when I booked on the phone. When I asked where we could eat was told "Aurillac, dix minutes", a key was thrust in my hand, I was given the key to our room and the gentleman disappeared with the other two people we had seen,never to be seen again. We carried our own cases up to our rather bleak room and found another place to eat, when we returned there were no lights and all was most unwelcoming.
We will see what breakfast is like and finish this review tomorrow.

Good Overnight Stop

We booked this hotel for an overnight stop en route back to the UK. This is a typical 2 star logis. Most of the guests that night appeared to be business. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. One plus which is a bonus in France was that it had a kettle. The restaurant was very good. One gripe was the wi-fi. It advertises wi-fi in all rooms, and there was a code to enter. However there was no signal. After checking outside everwhere in the corridor on our floor and still not getting any signal, I raised the problem with reception who only spoke french and spanish. After checking on her system she managed to convey to me with the aid of an internet translater that the room was too far away and therefore did not have a signal, which I had already figured out. So if you want wi-fi, make sure you request a room where it works when booking!

deception

Déception cette année, cet hôtel je le connais depuis des année, les chambres sont confortables, la literie est bonne, les chambre donnant sur la piscine sont très calmes mais cette fois il y a un manque d'entretien au niveau de la piscine devenue inaccessible aux clients et qui est le domaine des chiens... des propriétaires et le parking est envahi de mauvaises herbes non tondues. De plus il semblerait que le restaurant soit fermé ainsi que le bar de l'hôtel qui faisait office de bar pour le village

Emplacement et photo attirante mais

Hotel sympa pour une nuit quoique avec ces chaleurs, il fallait ouvrir la fenetre et la, la route prenait le relais avec un bruit quand meme assez derangeant. De plus la télévision ne marchait pas, ce qui niveau occupation enlevait un certain plaisir.
Petit dej classique mais pour un dimanche on aurait pu imaginer qque viennoiseries pour agrementer cela mais il n'en fut rien, pensez y la prochaine fois !!!!
