I paid online before I arrived. I was not allowed to enter my room because they said I had to pay cash at the front desk. The police were present and I explained to them that I had already paid through hotels.com and they call the owner of the apartment and the girl that booked me online in WhatsApp And they agreed to let me have the key, but I had to pay in cash and the police were present and I’m in a foreign country and I’m afraid they may throw me in jail so I paid in cash so I am not pleased with this at all. I never found out they wanted me to pay in cash until After I had already booked. It’s a 27 hour flight and I was tired and I had jet lag it was a terrible experience at the residency Inn booked through hotels.com and Expedia I tried to call in contact hotels.com and Expedia and I was never able to get anyone

Left in less than 24hrs

I have to say, the airbnb unit I stayed in was matchbox sized. But the worst part of tbe experience wss that the place itself is located near a slum area. You also see dodgy looking people coming in and out of the lobby. No internet when you get to the lobby so you cant sit inside while waiting for a grab car. I dont recommend the location and i dont think id recommend walking around the area. I have never checked out faster my entire life. Left in less than 24 hrs.

Below average accomodation

Firstly, we booked a condo unit with 2 bedrooms for 4 adult pax. The managing agent gave us a studio with 1 double bed for 4 adults. This was not what we paid for. After much ado we were given a converted 2 bedroom unit which was cramped.
It had cockroaches. The toilet smelled like clogged drainage. The bidet had to be replaced and the toilet bowl had to be unclogged.
The shocking part was we had to pay about USD3per pax per day for usage of the swimming pool.
Our unit 714 was next to the pool and workers and security guard congregated outside our window at about 6.15am for a loud chatter, which we had to inform them 3 times there were guests trying to sleep.
The only good thing that came out of this was we managed to invest time as a family. Plus the managing agent's assistant Ms. Joyce Imboy gave us good and prompt service.

Very rude owner named Apple

CozyCoastStay by APPLEBEYONDPH should not be on this business. I only ask if she is very strict with her rules about her check in at 3 p.m she should help and have a room to store our luggage as I booked for a 15nights. This lady named Appje is a very rude person to her guests. She cancelled my booking to her unit by herself to booking.com and left me in the lobby of SMDC with no place to stay. Hiw rude is that person ?
