Enchanting

Thanks to the whole team and the recognizing house: Enchanting!
The side by side of old, contemporary and some cheeky, makes this such a soothing place. The rooms, the house and the service are characterized by a special attention to the needs of the guest. The breakfast buffet is lovingly, individually, reinterpreted with special care. The bathroom in the single room becomes a small wellness oasis with deft tricks. Ms. Gruber at the reception has humor, which distinguishes her as a personality in the repetitive world of receptionists. The kitchen works without binders, flavor enhancers or sugar. This creates a menu sequence, interrupted by various surprising intermediate courses, which is really refreshing and beneficial! The book ragle! Books that are also read - along with newspapers. All together: Enchanting! You did! I'll be back.

Pure disappointment - warmth and life are missing

We were eating at the Seehof with friends, locals, because we wanted to get to know it. Unfortunately very disappointing; from the reception to the end, one did not feel welcome. The quality of the food is simply insufficient for what they believe they are giving the guest. The tuna was tasteless and served without care. I only decided on one main course and it was as uninspired as it gets. The hosts in the restaurant were unfriendly and heartless. You get the feeling they are just going through the motions.
The restaurant is run-down, fabrics are dirty, and the flowers are partially withered. We consumed two good bottles of wine and an aperitif. It is not what one knows from insider knowledge and the press, unfortunately not recommended. The location is nice and the view as well, unfortunately everything else is insufficient. We would have also liked to consume more and were open to a nice evening with friends at the Seehof.

It doesn't get much better...

We were after almost 15 years again 4 days at SEEHOF and felt totally comfortable! Service, food and events (especially "Fish&Bubble") were top!! The location and the location make you fall into deceleration mode anyway...

Disappointing

The photos on the website look very promising, unfortunately that doesn't quite correspond to reality. At a price of 320.- Euro for a double room, I have more
expected. The bathroom was old and very small, the water did not drain in the sink. Showers were unfortunately only possible lukewarm, as the mixing lever folded down at low water pressure, i.e. warm water and no more water came out of the hand shower.
On the day of arrival it was only possible to take a seven-course menu in the evening, but unfortunately it was not possible to switch to another restaurant in Goldegg as all other restaurants were still closed at the beginning of May. On Saturday night we ate in the restaurant, the food was just not good. The breakfast buffet also falls further short of expectations.
The location of the hotel is nice.

disappointing behaviour

Food was ok, but, bill was unacceptable. Billed wrong things (too many courses) and were not willing to correct on the following day. Horrible reaction from them. All it all it was a disappointing experience what is sad given the great location and view.
