Great sleep
The rooms are clean, spacious, and function well. There was some noise over the weekend but it didn't effect my sleep. Shower was nice, easy to use, and as expected.
The property has multiple restaurants, bars, workout facilities, and a spa. Breakfast was great and can't think of anything negative to say.
I few English channels, a lot of elevators, short walk to everything. Staff was always eager to help and kept the facilities clean. Front desk spoke very good English.
Would I stay here again, absolutely. I think I liked the lower floors better, but rooms were basically the same. I stayed at the Hilton across the intersection my last visit, 100% good with staying here over the Hilton.

Use of gym / sauna / steam room / pool carries a separate charge, not the norm at most international hotels / hotel groups, use of these facilities should be free to use for hotel guests.

the microwave is not part of the listed amenities. Regarding our 5-star rating , we believe that the quality and service we provide meet this standard. However , we also understand that perceptions and expectations may vary from guest to guest, and everyone is free to choose the accommodations that best suits their personal preferences.

Solid Stay at Grand Hotel Sofia – Nice Upgrade & Facilities, But Not Quite as Good as Sense
We received a lovely welcome and were upgraded, which was a nice touch. The rooms are lovely and spacious, although the views around the hotel aren’t great. The hotel itself is very large, with plenty of restaurants and an excellent gym. It never felt overly busy.
Breakfast offered a nice variety, but the cooked food was stone cold as the warmers weren’t working. All the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly.
The Ozone rooftop bar had a slightly flat vibe — the music wasn’t loud enough for dancing. The Sense rooftop bar is much better by comparison.
Overall, I would stay here again. The rooms aren’t “wow,” but we had a comfortable and relaxed stay.
