Don't miss this place. You take a dirt road into the forest but well worth it when you get there(make sure to arrive before dark). The Lodge is beautiful and the hosts Josh and his wife Vianca are fantastic. There isn't a restaurant on site but bring you own groceries there are 2 fabulous kitchens for you to use, plus a BBQ grill. There is exercise equipment, a pool table and a hot tub, and many other things for you or the kids to use. If you rent the Moose room you even have a hot tub in your room-it was great. This is a great place for a romantic get away, plenty for kids to do, or for a wedding and reception(rent the whole place). All spaces super clean. Access to the lake with all the water toys you might need, ATV and snowmobile trails. Wished I had booked more than 1 night, if we are back in the area again will definitely stay a while. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Had so much fun! All the amenities were amazing. Swam in Howard lake and my wife used the kayaks. The moose room was so awesome.. Only wish we stayed longer. Definitely a must stay place with the whole family next time.

My wife and I had a very good time at this property. It is very secluded, but there is a lot of things to do here. The staff was amazing and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed 2 nights.

Wonderful, tranquil, peaceful stay

We rented the entire lodge for a weekend for a family reunion. What a beautiful place to be. Away from the hustle bustle of the world, up in the tranquility of the Downeast mountains. Josh and Vianca are wonderful and very attentive hosts that give you your space if desired, but immediately available if needed. We even rented their ATVs and explored the miles of trails in the area. The kids loved the floating island just off shore in the lake. The lake is an easy 10 min hike from the lodge or just drive down and park at the shore line. We used their kayaks and canoes to explore the lake. The lake is quiet without crazies in speed boats, jus very serene. The lodge is about 45 min from grocery stores so bring your food on the first trip. Convenient gas station in Perry with some small fishing tackle, good pizza, and all the drinks you need.Only negative, it the same you will encounter anywhere in Maine, bugs, bring you repellent. Overall our stay was exceptional, with exceptional hosts. We will come back!
