Disappointed, specially with the rates we paid.

Hotel Camarote has a great location, right in the heart of the old town. The rooms are spacious, however, the AC we were told is really through a floor cooling mechanism that is supposed to cool the high ceiling rooms even when temperatures in the summer outside are high. We were a bit uncomfortable in our stay in august, a room fan would have helped. The reception desk was manned by a young lady with no information about things in the hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We were in room 201 the noise level was high in the late evenings people walking by the hotel. We were there for the total solar eclipse so the hotel rates were 600.00 euros per night. I was expecting a nice welcome or a friendly gesture. The dinner on the rooftop on the day of the eclipse was very good, otherwise, next time I travel to Leon, I would be staying elsewhere.

Many rules, one more terrace.

We went because they are making a big deal about a terrace they have on the top floor, selling it as having the best views of León, which is untrue. The terrace is indeed very nice, and the staff is very professional, but they do not serve coffee; they only want to sell drinks and make a profit. They also have very special hours; if they have it rented for an event, they should not let you go up and impose a schedule for having a drink. In short, a bit special and many rules; personally, it did not leave me with a good impression. In summary, I would not repeat.

Disappointment and much. We won't repeat.

Very bad service. An hour waiting for a plate of pasta. Of the 6 fish advertised in the letter, there was only one. I'm not talking about the price because I think it's secondary. I prefer to focus on the bad feeling we left there with for service and food. I would not recommend it at all.

A latte 5 €

It is a shame being such a nice place t casque five euros x a latte, those who want alcohol is their problem there I say nothing but I want to have a coffee q in El Sardinero m worth 1.80€ and here 5 is absolutely unacceptable.

If you're not a VIP, you can't go upstairs. Your money's not worth the same as the workers' friends

If you are friends with any worker you can go up to the terrace otherwise... very lucky.
We called to go up to the terrace for a drink on a Sunday afternoon. They told us it was full, the next group that in half an hour they could go up and two couples that arrived right after... boom! Lucky for them if they could get up, for them it wasn't full.
