Welcome to the Hotel California!
Who would have thought, SoCal living is possible, minus the american negatives, on the edges of Europe. This tiny, music-fandom themed oasis of tranquility, situated on the picturesque hill side village of El Paso, features the best of the Canary Island La Palma, relaxed climate, fab infrastructure, scenic former volcano mountains, the Atlantic ocean beneath you and pristine and often spectacular pine trees to watch over you. And at night a hyper-real milky way above you that is revealing to you all the right questions about this marvellous mystery of your being in this realm. 'Sophisticated calm' is what I felt all the way through my stay at The El Paso, even when I used the communal living room occasionally to get a coffee and engage in remote work. This is now my fav'd 'Hotel California' without the nuisance of intercontinental travel. Kudos to the creators of this sphere, it's really '...such a lovely place.'

**A Private Paradise in El Paso, La Palma**
It's hard to pin down exactly what to call this place — not quite a hotel, not quite a B&B, not quite a holiday apartment. What I can tell you is that in June (low season), I had an entire property consisting of three suites, a pool, jacuzzi, kitchen, BBQ area, lounge spaces, and even a yoga deck — all to myself, surrounded by a gorgeous garden.
The hand-painted walls, done by artists, add so much character and really contribute to the sense of calm and wellbeing throughout the property. The town of El Paso is within easy walking distance, and the owners can arrange a rental car for you if needed.
All in all, these were some of the most beautiful days I've spent in a long time. I won't forget the nights in the illuminated jacuzzi, looking up at a sky full of stars. And the little details made it special too — fresh oranges and lemons picked straight from the trees in the garden, plus a homemade power drink every morning, turned breakfast into something genuinely special.
A wonderful, peaceful retreat — highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind away from the crowds.

Wonderful.
We rented the entire hotel and had a fantastic week at The El Paso with nine people at the end of May. The property is very spacious, beautifully landscaped, and the view from the apartment of the 'El Guanche relajado' is indescribable! We were able to use the great pool every day, and for those who still found it too cold, they stayed in the bubbling hot tub. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and care! We can highly recommend the hotel. Those traveling in a large group will find a great opportunity here with plenty of privacy.
A lounge or similar space for comfortable outdoor seating would be nice; otherwise, everything was perfect!

Superb B&B in El Paso, between Caldera de Taburiente and Ruta de Los Volcanes
We stayed 4 nights in The El Paso and we loved it. A place you feel good as soon as you pass the portal. Wonderfully renovated buildings with taste and modernity, while keeping the authenticity of the place. Like staying in a small Mexican village. Rooms with all the necessary comfort. Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Barbecue, equipped kitchen, everything is common but there are only 3 bedrooms so we are far from the crowd of great hotels “All-in”. A large common room, for breakfast (carefully prepared by Yadami), to drink and listen to music thanks to all the vinyls made available by the owner of the premises. Music that is everywhere, in small touches, in decorations, frames, furniture, bathrobes (Ramones, Queen...). For convenience, there are two parking spaces available. In the end, nothing wrong, everything was perfect

Rooms for self-catering
The house has only three clairvoyant rooms and one apartment. The small complex with pool has a well-equipped kitchen and a common room. Congratulations to the photographer of the website! Like everywhere else in La Palma, everything blooms in the garden. Unfortunately, the courtyard is not really maintained. I would not speak of a hotel at El Paso as there is no service. The rooms are not cleaned , no beds made etc. fresh towels are brought only on request this can only be ordered via whatsapp as there are no staff on site, only at the key collection a lady was there briefly. I would not recommend the house as in my opinion the price,-performance ratio is not right.
