Me alojé en el Hostal para sacarme el carnet de conducir. Sonia es la encargada de tu seguridad y comodidad en todo momento, es una persona encantadora con la que se puede hablar de todo y hace de tu estancia como si estuvieses en casa.
Hay distintos tipos de habitaciones, pero lo importante es que siempre están todas muy limpias y en perfecto estado.

good for his price
Good for his price, smal and poor breakfast, old hostel, friendly but old people, in shopping lane with bars restaurants and playgardens for children, close to historic center,no parking, didnt bother to put 4th bed in room, thin walls and noise from water tubes, no noise from street, we had a room at the back, no airco even not the chance to open the window without entering mosquitos, what did you espect for 60€ in high season with 2 adults and 2 children and something to eat at the morning, if you need a very simpel place to sleep for a couple of euros, this is the place

do not stay here
The old lady couldn't even find our booking. Not a good first impression.Service at front desk was terrible. A smile goes a long way! If u dont speak spanish then it would be difficult to communicate with the old couple who run it as they dont speak english.luckily I knew some Spanish to get by! Our room was spacious but very dark, no air conditioning, no fan. Bathroom was run down and a bit dirty. Wifi worked only in common room. I would have preferred to stay in the old town of cuenca. New town where hostal is is quite boring. We stayed one night in cuenca but wished it was just a day trip as you can see the sights all in a day. Breakfast was served to us but was very basic and small. I wouldn't stay here again.

Cheap, but good hostal in Cuenca
Just a 10 minute walk from the historical Old City, the hostal is centrally located in the newer part of Cuenca. We had 2 spacious single rooms. A basic breakfast (coffee, juice and toast) was included in the modest price - €25. Very nice and helpful staff.

Noisy
The Hostal is in a good place in the centre of the new town a 15 minute walk to the old town. However, they put us in a room where we were woken up by the neighbours at 3am and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night due to the noise of the party next door. I spoke with the gentleman on duty overnight, he was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. The breakfast was ok but not much of it and low, low quality. Find somewhere else, don't stay here.
