Fremragende ophold i Basel
Check-in erfaring var fremragende. Ismail var hurtig, professionel og meget hjælpsom. Værelset og badeværelset var fadefri, og sengen og puder var yderst komfortable. Såpen og brusegelen havde en behagelig duft, der varede i timevis.
Morgenmaden var også fremragende, med et stort udvalg af koldt kød, grøntsager, æg, frugt, korn, croissanter, bagværk, saft, et fremragende udvalg af te, og — sidst men ikke mindst — et generøst udvalg af ost.
En stor tak – til Gabriel for hans hjælp, og også til Ismail, som hjalp mig meget under flyselskabets angreb.
Alt i alt, det var et perfekt ophold.
Morgenmaden var også fremragende, med et stort udvalg af koldt kød, grøntsager, æg, frugt, korn, croissanter, bagværk, saft, et fremragende udvalg af te, og — sidst men ikke mindst — et generøst udvalg af ost.

Træt og træt hotel ledet af en uvenlig personale
I det mindste plejede det at blive drevet af venlige og omsorgsfulde mennesker. Nu er det ikke kun skidt, men det er også skidt, og alle medarbejdere undtagen til morgenmad og rengøring har været hjælpeløse, brutale og foragtfulde. Jeg følte mig som et besværligt objekt snarere end en person. Jeg vil anbefale andre hoteller i denne kategori.

En skuffende ophold med dårlige værelsesforhold og ingen ægte VIP anerkendelse
Som en loyal og hyppig Radisson gæst, med gode oplevelser i de fleste af deres hoteller, fandt jeg dette ophold meget skuffende. Hotellet ikke leverede de forventede VIP-medlemskabsfordele tillod ikke tidligere check-in - selvom de ikke var travlt, og i første omgang placeret mig i et understandard værelse, der var ekstremt varmt og klart ikke i ordentlig arbejdstilstand. AC var svigtende, beskidt og meget støjende, tv'et var brudt og køleskabet fungerede heller ikke.
Først efter at vedligeholdelsen bekræftede, at rummet ikke var anvendeligt og anbefalede, at jeg skulle flyttes, blev jeg overført til et velfungerende værelse. Dette var især skuffende, fordi hjemmesiden viste, at der stadig var masser af værelser til rådighed.
Selv efter dette tilbød hotellet stadig ikke en opgradering til den højeste tilgængelige værelseskategori, selvom dette er en af de vigtigste VIP-fordele. Samlet set føltes dette ikke som det niveau af anerkendelse eller service genopretning, jeg ville forvente som en loyal høj hyppig gæst.
