Special Experience
The perfect Experience. We have been guests in this hotel for our honey moon, and was all perfect. They welcomed in the room with baloons and a happy hour. The rooms was great big, clean and with a special view. The breackfast very various with salted and sweetiest dishes. The hotel had a special pool on the roof top with sunbeds and a bar to take some drinks. It's very near at the beach with a walk of 10 minutes and near the hotel there was some restaurant, shops also a drugstore! The staff it's very kindly and available in every moment of the day! If we'll come back on the island probably we choose it another time!

Great hotel
We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and had a very enjoyable stay overall.
Check-in was easy and straightforward, although we were unable to access our room until 3pm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made a great first impression.
Our room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The view wasn’t anything special as it overlooked the flats opposite, but we weren’t expecting a sea view, so this wasn’t an issue for us.
Breakfast was decent, although not the best we’ve experienced. There was a good selection available each morning, including pastries, breads, fruit, and cooked breakfast options.
The highlight of the hotel was definitely the rooftop pool. The views of the sea were absolutely stunning and made it a wonderful place to relax. There were plenty of sun loungers available, and we never had any trouble finding one, even when arriving at the pool later in the day.
A special mention goes to the lady who cleaned our room (room 420). She was incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job every day, which was greatly appreciated.
The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the busy area of St Paul’s Bay, where you’ll find plenty of lovely restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and souvenir stores.
Overall, we had a very good stay and would definitely return when we next visit. We would happily recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable stay in a great location.

Mayflower hotel
Second visit to Bugibba, first time at this hotel.
Check in is from 3pm.
The reception is very tastefully decorated with a vending machine area located off it. There is a delightful sitting area where you are able to catch up on the latest news. There is an ATM located here also. Just passed reception you will find the bar and luggage room and beyond that you will find three lifts to take you up to the bedrooms.
Rooms. We had a superior higher level bedroom and were located in room 614. The view from the room overlooked spare ground that was home too many cats, fed daily by a local! The balcony is small and houses a table and two chairs( no room for anything else) An airer would have been ideal.
The beds were twin but very comfy, the room comprise of a large flat screen, kettle, fridge. There is an open wardrobe with coat hangers and some shelving. Safety deposit box is also available.
The bathroom had sink and walk in shower unit and toilet. Soap and towels provided.
Location is ideal with shops bars and all around.
Word of warning Don’t use the shop next to Marley’s as they are way overpriced!.
The Red Lion is excellent for food. As is the Woodhut and Happy Pigs.
The rooftop pool is undergoing a refurb at the moment but can image it will look fantastic on completion.

So much bad stuff to say about this hotel. We (a couple) booked a room months ahead and I selected one big bed. Upon arrival we get two separate beds, we ask them to change the room or help us. They refuse to change the room and blame us for booking the wrong room. They offer a double mattress but they will only change to it 3 days later, if we want it before that we need to pay 10 euro per night (30 euro). They refuse to change the sheets more often than every 3 days, and if you do want it changed you have to tell them otherwise they won't change. The mattress cover was dirty and covered in blood? See attached picture.
Breakfast was not pleasant at all, not much to choose from and everything was tasteless.
All the towels stunk vinegar which was disgusting and they had holes in them because they were so used/old. If you want to weigh your bagage in the hotel you have to pay 1 euro. If you check out early and want to leave the bags and use the pool you have to pay 10 euro per person to take a shower for 30 minutes. This hotel is SUPER greedy, the only thing left is to charge for breathing air. Staff is rude and never asked how our stay was and never greeted us. Rooms are super dirty and badly cleaned especially the bathrooms. The towels you borrow to use for the beach/pool area are children sized (super small).
Please save your money and book another hotel, this hotel is super stingy and does not care about their customers!

Hotel good location but the air con didn’t work until I complained.. The staff at night were rude and quite arrogant asking what I was doing sitting in lobby even after I said I was a guest and just relaxing.. Breakfast was average
