Thanks for the great vacation....

We spent 13 days at Residence Mathilda and can only report good things. The hotel's central location in Vezzan is an ideal starting point for exploring the entire Vinschgau valley. Even those who want to forgo the car for a while are very well connected by public transport. The train station in Goldrain can be reached on foot in 15 minutes, and the bus to Schlanders stops 100m from the hotel.
The hotel itself impresses with the friendliness of the entire staff, spacious rooms, a great terrace, and a very beautiful garden. We also really liked the indoor pool, which we enjoyed using for relaxation in the late afternoon after a strenuous hike.
We would also like to particularly highlight the lavish breakfast buffet, which left almost nothing to be desired.
Although we only used the dinner service a few times during our stay, we can still highly recommend it... what the chef conjures up on the plates here is unbeatable. Upscale cuisine at a great price-performance ratio.
Anyone who has the chance to spend a night at the associated Latscher Alm during their stay should definitely do so. It is truly a special experience to fall asleep to the sound of cowbells and wake up again in the mountains with the first rays of sunshine.
We can only recommend Residence Mathilda and thank you for the great time....

Highly recommended.

A beautiful short stay; the underground garage was kept open for us in the evening so that our pony could be well accommodated. Rooms are large and clean, only the mattresses are a bit hard.

Great place to stay

A wonderful, lovely and heartwarming place to stay. Very friendly and welcoming staff, spacious, very comfortable rooms and an amazing breakfast on the terrace with a breathtaking view. We loved every moment here.
