B&B sea and temples: between the sea and breathtaking ruins
We stayed at the B&B Mari e templi in the week of August 15 to 22 and we were really good. The owner Dario was very kind not making us miss anything and listening to our requests. The rooms are new, the cleanliness impeccable and the value for money very fair and honest. Highly recommended, finally, the boat trips that the owner organizes in the neighboring areas of Agrigento.

Beautiful structure
New structure and equipped with all comforts, very close to the sea with a terrace with spectacular views, where you can spend cool evenings. The room was clean and the staff very nice and attentive. Possibility of free beach within walking distance. Recommendation!!

Nice place meh
The very clean room, beautiful terrace overlooking the quiet sea, second floor without lift. Very kind but poor breakfast, terrible coffee, if you improve that you are at the top. The strategic position for visiting the temples and just a few steps away from the beach equipped with bars and restaurants.

Corner of peace and paradise ❤️
Holiday rating 10!! the B&B Mare e templi is a corner of paradise. Comfortable room, breakfast is also good, Highly recommended! I will definitely return, Leandra and Dario are two fabulous hosts of the b&b.

Great location for visiting the Valley of the Temples and super close to the sea
The location was really very convenient, very close to the beach (basically just over the road) and a short drive to the Valley of the Temples. As it says in the name 'Mare e Templi', basically this is a really good place to stay as a base camp for visiting both. Additionally, I thought the shared rooftop terrace area was really lovely, with a good view of the sea and very nicely and thoughtfully decorated and furnished with tables and two sun loungers. Worth pointing out that this is a communal area, though. We had our own separate little bit of the rooftop terrace which was private to our room, which was also nice to have. The couple who run the place were very kind, friendly and helpful, and nice to our young son. Despite the fact that they didn't really speak English, she was very informative and usefully recommended a few good places to us, such as an excellent local ice cream place!
On the down side, unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, the shared kitchen area was out of bounds, which meant that we couldn't use the toaster etc to make ourselves breakfast, nor was there breakfast served either (because the space apparently had been deemed too small to have several guests sitting down together eating breakfast). I believe this is only a temporary situation, and hopefully by June 2022 should be sorted, or at least they can serve breakfast outside on the terrace by then, because the weather should be warm enough. One thing I would say, is that the space is really clearly a converted flat with four or five bedrooms along a corridor, a kitchen area and a terrace area, so if all the rooms were full, I could imagine that it might feel a little bit crowded (depending on how noisy the neighbours were!). It would be perfect for a large extended family or a group of friends to hire out in its entirety with all the rooms booked between them. I think that would be a blast. We had no issue with the space, as there were only two of the rooms booked I think when we were there, the guests were very quiet and we didn't see them at all while we were there, so we had the run of the communal terrace area, which was nice! We would definitely recommend this B&B and would stay here again if in the area.
