Pleasant place
We have spend a pleasant time there. The hotel was very nice and the rooms were clean I liked the look of the hotel nice greenary kids enjoyed a lot in the park and the bonfire there are so many activities we can do there and coming to the food it was. Awesome and tasty I really liked the hotel there was also birds and fishes near the park and very good hospitality.

Room service was okey.
overall it was nice. It was very difficult to reach the place as there was no sign board. The heater was taking a long time to heat up.It was taking a long time to fill up the water in toilet flush.overall it was a nice stay.

Fairly Good Villa
We had a family vacation trip this April 2019 from the 27th to the 29th and we stayed at this location. Now first things first after I made the reservation I did get a receipt and etc however I didn't hear from the owner till the day of the booking where they made sure I was on my way :) . I highly recommend only staying here if you have a vehicle because its around 5 km + from the lake. You get your own spot for parking within the compound itself. The Villa itself is on a. steep hill and is quite high up.
Now as for the Villa there are three bedrooms adequate for 2 people to sleep with ease and you could probably adjust one more person in a bed if needed but its going to be a bit tight. There was a working TV on the bottom floor although the channel selection is a bit skimpy. Although this place has a working kitchen you should know that other than the basic utensils no necessary ingredients are available. I would think that it would be great to provide basic things for tea and coffee for the guests to make if they need it. The rooms all were adequately cleaned before we reached there with clean spreads . Two of the rooms are on the second floor so if you have a lot of people with problems climbing steps that may be an issue. Hot water is provided through a heater in each bathroom. There is a water purifier in the kitchen if you need it.
Although I see an earlier review stating that the caretaker was a scam artist this was not the experience I had with the person there. He got anything we needed from the town (Dominos , Food etc) . We were not charged anything in excess other than the room rent which was quoted on the site.
A word of advice . Do not bother ordering food from huge restaurants . Theres a nice lady to the right hand side of the road when you drive out fo your villa. She makes the best chicken curry ever. Reasonable rates . My advice is just ask her to make you some food of your choice. I found it much more delicious than some of the good review hotels. Also note that there is free breakfast included with this villa or at least we got one so make sure you confirm that before going out and buying food.
Overall I had a positive stay and wouldn't mind staying there again if the need arose. Thanks

Please Never visit this place...
They just scammed cash from us. 10k for the breakage which we were not aware of it...everything is pre-planned.caretaker is clever...such filthy mentality people....they don't have courtesy to cheat people..he was so irresponsible..jus stayed for 1night...only during nite time v came to our room...that too v have used our speakers...v didn't turn on the tv..And that tv is seen damaged only if v turn it on...how do v know that is already damaged....v didnt on only...I think they might have not checked properly at the time of check out who stayed before v came..that caretaker might have checked it later..then he was playing the game to put full blame on us...when v juz enquired, he said how come v will not watch TV...first thing I want to clear v didn't come to kodaikanal for watching TV...as if v don have TV in our home....don't eat others money by jus cheating....and moreover rooms are dirty, there were no towels or toiletries placed in the accommodation and service was horrible.. caretaker played cleverly

Cheated us and scammed 10k do not visit
NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE.Worst experience we ever had. They scammed cash from us. Clamined that we broke a tv when they had already broken and placed it there . The helper boy was also a part of their plan . We paid 10k for doing nothing. We had to obey them because we were just tourists and wanted to return back safely. Our budget was only 5k per person but we were forced to pay for something we never did . They literally house arrested us and stoped us from leaving the place and boarding our bus.
They planned the incident very well.
During check in, they never informed us us facilities . But blamed us for breaking the tv only during check out , claiming to have told us about the facilities and about the working condition of the electronic items.
The boy who worked was very clever and planned it very well. He turned on the tv as soon as we locked the house and gave the keys to him ( within few seconds) we hadn’t even exited the gate.
But told his owner that we were trying to run away after breaking the tv.
The broken condition of the tv was only visible if it is turned on and hence we never realised that it was damaged . But the genius “super vision “ worker saw.
They spoke to us in a very rude manner .
They bought around 15ppl when we were only 4.
They scammed 10k.
Please never go to this cottage .
The people in the next villa inside the same compound was accused for the same.
Only after we saw other reviews we realised that it was a plan.
