Charming, quirky guest house

Charming, spacious accommodation, great location, nice fresh breakfast delightful owners who couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was lovely with a separate sitting room overlooking a pretty courtyard. Very pleasant visit. Would recommend

Well-situated B and B

We spent one night here in early January. Rooms are VERY spacious, clean and reasonably priced. Hosts were very cordial and friendly, taking our large bags upstairs for us and joining us for a pleasant, simple breakfast with nice homemade jams.
As you are in the center of the old town there are many restaurants and sights within a moments walk. Not sure if its noisier at night during busier tourist season but it was exceptionally quiet during our stay. Bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure and heat. They have a large backyard which, if cleaned up, could make this even nicer in warm weather. Pleasant stay.

Pleasant visit, payment surprise

Very pleasant and accommodating hosts. All the rooms were full for our requested dates so a small house nearby was offered. Unfortunately no WiFi. Upon paying the bill we were told that credit cards for foreign currencies ($) were not accepted. A very unpleasant surprise. Would have liked to know that in advance.

What a find

We booked at the last minute, and could not have been more pleased, delighted with our two nights at Le Cep. Gisele and Philippe are gracious, down-to-earth and complete hosts. Their place is well done, pleasant and a welcoming environment. Our fellow guests added to the enjoyment. and the petit dejeuner was complete and tasty, topped off by the homemade pastries and breads. We will return if at all possible.

Wonderful hosts

We stayed 4 nights in Phillips and Giselle’s lovely bed and breakfast accommodation. The accommodation is rustic and homely, clean and welcoming. It is situated in the centre of the village of Sancerre so 2 minutes walk to the bars and restaurants. Phillips and Gisela are the perfect hosts and could not have been more welcoming. Breakfast was very tasty home made bread and jams amongst a very tasty spread. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place with such hospitable hosts. We will definitely be back
